I mean this is just getting ridiculous. How many game deciding moments are coming from a toe out of place, or a ball brushing someone's hair!? Is that really what we want? Nothing about the play materially changed in any way. The spin and trajectory are identical to the human eye. Tech applied this strictly that doesn't change the play at all is a BAD application of sensors/VAR/AI and against the original spirit and intent of the off sides rule.

There are two different kinds of price increases. One is because of a genuine change to the supply demand equation, those can get fixed and prices can come down. People working see the same paycheck or a small 2% raise and think everything’s fine, but if new dollars created is 5.5%, they’re actually making less. That’s the poison of fiat currencies. The economy is always trying to make things cheaper for you, but new money being created is constantly making every dollar worth less. It’s why every dollar you don’t want inflated away has to be invested in things that retain value as more money is created.

something i’ve realized watching all of this play out a sandwich that jumps from $8 to $14 never goes back to $8. rent that climbs from $1,400 to $2,200 stays at $2,200 forever. gas, groceries, insurance, all of it. prices only move in one direction inflation becomes permanent the moment everyone accepts the new number. and we always accept it because we have no other choice then workers ask for raises just to survive the prices they had nothing to do with creating. and suddenly they’re the problem. they’re “hurting the economy” by wanting to afford food the economy for who exactly. because whoever it’s working for it sure as hell isn’t us
