Arguably the most important part of an architectural education is the regular practice of design critique, or a “crit.” Sometimes one-on-one with a professor and sometimes pinning up in front of your peers, the crit revolves around presenting your ideas for critical feedback for the purpose of learning and making the design better.  More broadly speaking, there is a big difference between complaining and critiquing. Complaining is indiscriminately whining about what one thinks is wrong without providing any real perspective or potential solutions. Critiquing is engaging with constructive feedback and alternative options with the goal of a better outcome.   No one needs more complainers.

How could someone have a parallel legal system in the U.S., Congressman? Isn’t the whole point of having laws that people can’t make up their own laws? There is no need to ban something that conflicts with laws we already have. You’d be a stronger candidate if you could just do your thing without the fearmongering.

Most people are idiots, Vickie. Telling me what "most" people think isn't a very interesting position. That said, I don't oppose a photo ID requirement. The proposed law is a lot more than that, isn't it. Just any photo ID isn't sufficient. It's ok if you view life this way. Lots of people do. One way or another it will all work itself out.

Only U.S. citizens should vote in U.S. elections. This is not a controversial statement. It is common sense.

What does CBDC do other than create another mechanism for packaging debt? There is no real utility or functionality gained. At its core it will create an artificial demand for U.S. Treasuries and allow the government to print more money rather than getting its act together and balancing the budget.

Republicans aren’t banning CBDCs, they’re redesigning them. Same surveillance, same control, just routed through banks so Wall Street gets its cut. It’s a revenue-sharing agreement. We need to reject this.
