@trampolinest @ShivaniM_KC Still on Metformin, but only once a day. No more Jardiance. Oh yeah, Mounjaro's effect on my A1C and weight (70ish pound down) has been incredible. Along with some trial medicine for fatty liver, it also reverted my NASH.

Steph you seem like a nice person so I will explain this to you In the UK, tirzepatide has the brand name Mounjaro which is licensed for both T2D and for obesity, same doses, same pen, same name for both indications In other countries, the obesity licence for tirzepatide is marketed as Zepbound for type 2 diabetes it’s called Mounjaro. Zepbound and Mounjaro are brand names for the same medication ie Tirzepatide, they are identical in their effects, dosing etc So your original reply to my case was factually incorrect.

@trampolinest @ShivaniM_KC My insurance denied my Mounjaro, asking for a more in depth justification other than just T2D. My doctor sent them my A1C value of 8+ while on Jardiance + Metformin for a year. This delayed my Mounjaro for over 3 months. My A1C just hit 5 after 21 months.

@ShivaniM_KC Doctor. I have T2D. Mounjaro has helped reduce my A1C to 6.9 from 9. Twice insurance asked the doctor’s office to justify Mounjaro, nurse assumes it is for zepbound and call me. It is easy to document when they hear T2D. Also my doctor always calls it zepbound

@Conta951 @PolloDiplomtico This has been the design ethos since Portal and other beginner products have existed. Back when there were three levels of card design: starter, advanced, and expert. It's not a new thing. They are just willing to make more interesting Starter designs.

@UlsiCoa @chrisprice @mil000 Sure. But I have about 50 loose 18650s I keep in rotation, not counting my flashlights. Some are genuine Samsung cells, some are unknown chinese cells from reliable AliExpress sellers. Some are... Less reliable, but seem to test fine for capacity.

@ElGeFe @chrisprice @mil000 in other words, bms will take care of the bat more and better than either of us cld if you are charging individual cells without bms, then you need to monitor and adjust the power/amperage, voltage, temp bms does all that 1000x per sec, better one even learn the cells, "ai" stuff

Why does Anker keep adding displays to their new chargers? I don't want a display, I want a cheap small and efficient charger, a display is not part of any of those things.

One vice I have that I can't even explain to myself: I love good cables, power adapters, and could (and have!) essentially buy new Anker stuff every two weeks. Something in me tells me that I need this. Look at that display. That knob. I don't need it, it's expensive, ... BUT.

@UlsiCoa @chrisprice @mil000 Sure. Charged/not charged is easy. But I have a lot of... Let's call them "questionable" 18650s, so knowing the rate of charge is useful. The chargers that show total charge delivered are even better.

@ElGeFe @chrisprice @mil000 they dont.. but most have at least a led telling you its status, even if its charged/not charged i charge my individual cells, and various others cell sizes and shapes with a homemade charger.. its my field, electronics, so i love making my own stuff, from components i picked..

@tfdgiuydzv @BigSteelShips @SpicyDaddy8 @KylePlantEmoji I thought it was 51% genetically Wagyu and then the ground beef has to be at least 51% from those cows, giving you ground beef that is 26.01% Wagyu and can still be called that. In other words, grab regular cheap lean ground beef, mix it with mostly the fat scraps from Wagyu.

@BigSteelShips @SpicyDaddy8 @KylePlantEmoji It is, and this person isn’t entirely correct. But American Wagyu is incredibly diluted genetically. So maybe it’s 1/8 or 1/16 Wagyu at this point. It’s nothing compared to Australian Wagyu or actual purebred Wagyu.

@UlsiCoa @chrisprice @mil000 Not all of my devices have a screen, and even the ones that do, they don't all tell me rate of charge. I use these fancy chargers to coordinate charging my flashlights and batteries (18650s and 21700s) using dumb battery chargers.

@chrisprice @mil000 the device you charge has a dispay and shows yt=that info.. this is obv for someone who sits at a computer, it looks like a desktop thing, and if this knob is power output control, then the one needing this has something to play with you will never look at this for a 2nd time..

@YetAnotherFabio @chrisprice @mil000 This. I love having one or two fancy chargers with screens, but those never move. My portable chargers are GaN compact units. My charger feeding my battery chargers and flashlights has a screen. The charger at my workbench also has a screen.
