Since when do Kryptonians need any physicality to use their heat vision? Superman was desperate in that particular scene; it’s not a thing in general. This is your first interaction with any Superman content, isn’t it? Just jumping on the hate-bandwagon because it’s fashion, aren’t you? 🙄

Physicality in acting. You can feel the power through how much effort the actor is putting into it. Now compare that to Supergirl. The lasers just come out of her without her barely doing anything 💀
