But no violence resulted from it. Speech does not cause violence. People need to stop thinking that people on the opposite side of the political spectrum need to be censored to prevent violence. People riot when they hear about little girls being murdered. They do not riot because of speeches and social media posts.

Police time will no longer be wasted investigating legal social media posts, freeing up officers to patrol the streets and tackle real crime. By scrapping Non‑Crime Hate Incidents, we are balancing the protection of vulnerable communities while respecting free speech.

Obviously freedom of speech is an American thing and in England ( where these 2 alleged crimes happened) the freedom of expression doesn't surpass incitement. However its clear who did what to any true English man.

The USA has free speech because of its 1st Amendment and a mountain of Supreme Court precedent that doesn’t get enough credit. It was actually an extremely left-wing Supreme Court that made some of the most important decisions that have resulted in a situation today where Americans wouldn’t even notice Lucy Connolly’s tweet or Ricky Jones’s speech. If you want free speech, you have to fight for the nastiest speech out there. You might find this interesting. I think connonlly clearly made an indifferent comment ( "for all I care") meaning she couldn't care less if something bad happened rather than . "Go and do it"
