This post is absolutely exploding!
Hi! I'm Captain Arbiter and I am an artist with an interest in retro sci-fi and guns.
I'm currently working on a graphic novel called ARGONAUT. Check out my profile for more, and maybe drop a follow if you like what you see?
Thank you!
@WeaponsVault In short no.
The tapered shell casing alone is not enough to contain the detonation of the powder causing it to pop like a balloon leaving gravity as the largest force acting on the projectile.
@SpeQx@primetateHQ@grok Ground vehicle and aircraft crews prefer the AKS-74U because it is smaller than the standard AK-74 and thus it is easier to store in the cramped interior of a military vehicle.
@phil_denton@Mericamemed If you have enough training to understand swiftness of action and violence of force then you have most likely learned about defensive positioning and pieing corners.
@Mericamemed It's like learning a nearside ambush in basic training. Got to rely on swiftness of action and violence of force.
I don't know about you but if I took a swift kick to the nuts I might have a hard time holding onto that rifle too.
@Chewey_UVA8791@Mericamemed Most criminals are also smart enough to know not to rub their shoulders against the nearest potential point of contact because that is how you lose your range advantage and get tackled.
@Mericamemed That technique is going to get someone shot. Most criminals have side arms and knives as backups. It’s nice that they are finally teaching people to take control of their lives. So it’s a start?
@KeltgenBob@Bella_91m7u You will find the United Kingdoms of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland (UKoESWaNI) has more letters in it's initials.
I'm sorry in advance, UK oomfs, but:
Actual freedom of speech
Right to self defense
Right to privacy
Right to own firearms
A codified Constitution, ostensibly preventing the government from changing the law on a whim
@PrairieHomeDec@BhattiLaib9960 I am not sure if your long term memory is well developed enough for this, but you have a serving President that recently threw a temper tantrum on social media because people refused to call him a king while an actual king was laughing at him.
@BhattiLaib9960 We the people grant the government power to govern as long as they stay in line. We have God Given liberties, not a king that rules. We bought our liberty in British and American blood.
@No_Mo_Diversity@BhattiLaib9960 Imagine being so brave that you need to build a personality around cowering behind a firearm rather than addressing societal issues like a responsible adult.
@BhattiLaib9960 Big thing is america has an armed citizenry. Brits are pussies who let the govt take their guns and now the govt is free to make england a muslim country.
@MathisenSteve@AMAZlNGNATURE The basic principle is a cloned giant moa gami was put into a monitored plastic container full of egg yolk and left to grow naturally in a lab with mineral and nutrient slurries added to prevent deficiencies from occuring.
Scientists successfully hatch chicken chicks from 3D-printed eggs as part of efforts to revive the extinct giant moa bird.
The giant moa was a massive flightless bird native to New Zealand that could stand up to 12 feet tall before going extinct roughly 600 years ago.
