are hackathons still a thing? when I was in college it was incredibly fun to not sleep for 36 hrs and write garbage code followed by a hard coded demo. definitely took some years off my life but really changed my perspective on what engineering is really about

@Causticat1 The app has a feature to sync the light to music, assume this is reason that permission is used. Personally, I would be perfectly fine without this feature ..

@gmrza @haxrob That crossed my mind but Timezone would be a less invasive way to approximate sunrise sunset data

@haxrob One potential reason is to be able to work out sunrise and sunset times to be able to switch on at sunset and off at sunrise.
