The “disgusting” part is terrorists that hide within civilian infrastructure.
That’s why Gaza was leveled and Lebanon might be facing the same reality. Clearly, Israel has stated no more Hamas and no more Hezbollah.
Israel has asked Lebanon to disarm Hezbollah, but they are unable or unwilling.
The IDF military goal is straightforward and clearly communicated. No more terrorists- period, the end, no exceptions.
Side benefit- perhaps Arab children will no longer be indoctrinated in their schools to eliminate Israel, the Jews and the west. The existential threat Israel has faced for decades is no longer tolerable.
