WHAT HAPPENS THE NIGHT HE PULLS THE TRIGGER Day one. Power grid gone. 90 million Iranians in darkness. No water pumps. No hospitals. No food storage. Day two. Kharg Island burns. That's 90% of Iran's oil exports. TWO MILLION barrels per day vanish from world markets. Oil hits $150. Then $200. Every $10 rise in oil costs the global economy $250 billion. Your gas hits $6. Maybe $8. Your groceries cost more. Your heating bill explodes. Iran retaliates. US bases across the region get hit. 40,000 troops. Houthis shut down the Red Sea. Global shipping collapses. Saudi oil fields get targeted. AGAIN. Like Abqaiq in 2019. Gulf desalination plants go dark. UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain. 50 MILLION people without water. You are not watching a foreign policy dispute. You are watching the supply chain that runs your life get destroyed. And you are scrolling past it. 🔴

@SSGT72 @Hotbuffalo27 @0hour1 What are you even talking about? I’ve never had fear of such a thing, while assorted actions and inactions of my own own government have certainly kept me up - and all issues Iran stem from the former class there going back eighty years. Get out of here with your boomerslop

@_ZachFoster So much spent on "defense" and "security" and yet we're apparently always under threat and at great risk; an uninformed person might think we're not getting our money's worth out of it, or someone is mismanaging something somewhere, or we're actively stoking resentment somehow 🤔

Israel & the United States are #1 and #2 in the world in military spending per capita, respectively. That must be why US officials say "imagine if Iran funded the well-being of its people, rather than its military. That must be why Israeli officials say "if only Hamas spent money on its people rather than on rockets & tunnels." The US & Israel spend the most on death & destruction in the world and then lecture their enemies, who spend dramatically less on death & destruction, why they spend so much on death & destruction. The US and Israel are the most arrogant countries in the world by a million orders of magnitude. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_c…

Marco Rubio 2 days ago: “Imagine if Iran funded the well-being of its people, rather than its military” Trump today: “We can’t fund daycare or Medicaid, we need more money for our military” Sometimes the jokes write themselves.

@Kathleen_Tyson_ I see nothing suspicious in two buildings disregarding their interconnected inner cores of 47 concrete-reinforced steel columns to crush through the path of greatest resistance at ~freefall speed effectively to ground level into their own footprints without toppling whatsoever..

@gotchabari @BelannF Simply leaving it at "who belong to the families of" the diplomatic class, etc., without unnecessarily invoking the obviously-inferred foreigners/aliens would have resolved it plainly.

@gotchabari @BelannF We'll have to agree to disagree, and as I said I'll largely suggest the opinion of people familiar with english usage of the time as I can not read this in any sensible way as heaping additional unnecessary confusion on a single group with multiple commas. I see a list.

@gotchabari @BelannF Disagree; he's listing multiple classes, else he'd have said "...foreigners or aliens who belong to the families of..." instead of using commas to invoke a list of separate entities. I'm sure a historical grammarian for the time could likely help confirm usage for good measure

I keep seeing all these comments scapegoating for Trump. "It's his handlers"...."He's not aware...." I worked two of the man's presidential campaigns. He was hands on to every aspect of his staff, PR image and campaign. If someone sneezed in the next building over, he knew it. Every move he makes is a conscious decision on HIS part. Including the decision to bow to Israel. It's not his staff. It's not his advisors. It's Trump.

A downed US pilot has attracted more media attention than more than 100 schoolgirls massacred by a US Pilot in Iran. This is the media machine that wants to narrate the truth. Journalism is beat down by paymasters of a certain persuasion of values.

You illegally conquered the Sinai and built a large settlemenr there to annex it. You refused to give it up until Egypt and Syria attacked your forces in occupied territory. Not a single country in the world at the time objected, because everyone knew you stole it and that they were taking back what was rightfully theirs. Your own example perfectly illustrates the expansionist nature of your colonial enterprise.
Hamas Atrocities@HamasAtrocities

In Israel, we are such a diabolical expansionist and colonialist country, that in 1978 we gave up two thirds of our territory to have peace with Egypt

A friendly reminder that, in late Ottoman Palestine, Jews, Muslims & Christians celebrated each other's holidays together: 1. Jews & Muslims celebrated Orthodox Easter w/Christians. 2. Muslims & Christians dressed up and partied for the Jewish holiday of Purim. 3. Jews & Christians joined Muslim pilgrimages & holidays It was a world before Zionism contaminated relations between Jews, Muslims & Christians in Palestine. palestine-studies.org/en/node/78121 I dive deeper into this history here: palestinenexus.com/courses

🚨BREAKING: Trump just officially proposed a $1.5 trillion military budget.. the current budget is $895 billion.. that's a 67% increase in a single year.. in the middle of a war he says will "make a fortune".. that's roughly $4,500 from every single American.. man, woman, child.. this year alone.. in April 1953, President Eisenhower gave a speech called 'The Chance for Peace'.. he said: "every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed".. Eisenhower was a five-star general who commanded the largest military operation in history.. and he spent the last years of his presidency warning America about exactly what we're watching happen.. your hospital can't afford nurses.. your school is cutting teachers.. your rent is up 40% in three years.. but the military budget just went up 67% in 12 months.. the war is paying for itself.. just not for you..

Iran doesn’t have free press or internet access. She has also been dressed up to look like a western woman, with hair showing and makeup on. Iranian women, notably Mahsa Amini, have faced arrest, assault, and death for showing hair This is pure state propaganda. And should be ignored.
