Fake news. This was before the TSA lines. I have been standing in TSA (pre-check) at the airport since all this started. Additionally, it is standard protocol for Members to get a capitol police escort who have security risks. My most recent security breach was approximately 3 weeks ago, at an airport, when I was not accompanied by security. I have security whenever I can get it because of the number of threats I receive. I have multiple people sitting in jail because of death threats. I find it so odd that a man would want to put a vulnerable woman in harm's way. Real men protect women. You know where you stand.

Rules for thee: Members of Congress get VIP escorts at the airport to skip the TSA line... Just like they exempted themselves from Obamacare, COVID vax mandates, insider trading rules, and labor laws (i.e. the secret discrimination settlement).

The funeral for his father was over. The silence in the house was heavy, the kind of quiet that feels like a physical weight on your chest. In 1991, Lou Diamond Phillips sat at his kitchen table, his eyes fixed on a cup of cold coffee. The crowds had thinned, the black suits were tucked away in closets, and the constant stream of “I’m so sorry for your loss” had finally dried up. To the rest of Hollywood, he was the untouchable star of La Bamba, a man who had it all together. To himself, he was just a son who felt completely adrift. The sun was just beginning to dip below the horizon when a sudden knock echoed through the house. Lou opened the door to find Esai Morales standing there. He wasn’t wearing a tuxedo, and he didn’t have a rehearsed script. He was carrying bags of food. “I’m not here to talk your ear off,” Esai said as he walked in, setting the containers on the counter. “I just wanted to see how you’re actually doing.” He didn’t offer empty platitudes or tell Lou to “be strong.” Instead, he just stayed. For the next several weeks, Esai kept showing up. Sometimes they ate in silence; sometimes they talked about nothing at all. There was no pressure to be the “movie star” version of himself. In a town where everyone wants something from you, Esai only wanted to give Lou the space to grieve. It was the moment Lou realized the difference between being famous and being truly known. Life has a way of turning the tables, though. A few years later, the roles reversed. The Hollywood machine is famously fickle. For a period, Esai’s phone stopped ringing. The big roles started going to younger actors, and the momentum he had built in Bad Boys felt like it was slipping through his fingers. When you are used to being at the center of the storm, the quiet of a slow career can be deafening. Doubt started to settle in. That’s when Lou stepped up. He was busy filming major projects like Courage Under Fire, but he made sure his schedule always had a gap for Esai. They didn’t meet at flashy industry parties. Instead, they met at small, hole-in-the-wall restaurants for familiar meals. Lou didn’t try to puff Esai up with fake praise. He simply reminded him of the truth. “Look at the work you did in Mi Familia,” Lou told him over dinner one night. “That talent doesn’t just disappear because the phone is quiet today. You’re a heavyweight, Esai. Don’t forget that.” It wasn’t a loud pep talk; it was a steady, grounding presence that kept Esai from sinking. Their bond became about much more than the silver screen. When Lou’s children were born, Esai was there immediately, grinning from ear to ear. “Move aside,” he joked, “Tío Esai is here to take over.” When Esai’s mother had a major birthday, Lou flew across the country between film shoots just to be there for her. They chose to show up in the rooms that actually mattered—the kitchens, the hospital waiting areas, and the backyard barbecues—rather than just the red carpets. Once, before Esai had to give a speech about Latino representation at a major gala, he leaned over to Lou and admitted he was feeling shaken by some recent negative press. Lou didn’t give a long speech. He just looked his friend in the eye and whispered, “You’re here for the ones who need to see themselves. Focus on them.” In an industry that treats people like disposable products, these two men chose to be each other’s anchor. They proved that fame is temporary, but a brother is for life.

Hollywood actress and director Elizabeth Banks is speaking out against the Save Act. She is prattling on about how difficult it would be to vote if it passes, even though she has a birth certificate, driver's license, and passport. It’s kind of funny because, in a way, she is really making the case for it. 😂😂 Check it out.👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

We are grateful to Mayor Mendenhall & the SLC Council for leading with integrity to protect Utahns’ safety, dignity, and vital water resources. ICE detention facilities are inhumane, strip people of their dignity, and have a documented history of abuse and violence. These facilities have no place in Utah.

I need to share this story today. It's a true story about toxic sarcasm and a lesson I learned about kindness and friendship. There is a drive thru swig style shop at a Holiday near us. When we tried it there was always the same woman at the window and she seemed unhappy to be there and a bit unpleasant. After going half a dozen times I realized I didn't want to go and experience that so the next time I went I asked her name (let's call her Hannah). I put on my best charm (I can actually be pretty charming). I thanked her for always being so gracious and pleasant and getting our order right (she hadn't). Part of my intent may have been toxic. I am sorry to disappoint my fans (hey you two, I see you!), but I have been known to be sarcastic. I have also learned if you treat people as if they had performed exactly as you wished they had, sometimes it moves them in that direction. She asked my name in return. There wasn't a lot of thought behind this, and I didn't see her the next few times I visited. I kind of assumed she'd been fired (she didn't seem like a very good employee). About a month later It was Hannah again and she called me by name with a broad smile. Embarrassed, I had to ask her to remind me of her name again. Hannah gave it to me her name again and I expressed how impressed I was that she remembered mine. She said that I was the only one who had ever asked for hers so she remembered. Skip forward a few months and eventually recognizing each other by voice alone at the speaker and My wife stopped by without me and with my daughters. She ordered a drink for me which is fairly specific and my wife was asked, "Are you Chance's husband?" I had mentioned some of this to her so she just said yes and that she must be Hannah? She affirmed this was the case. Then disaster struck, our youngest had been feeling a bit off and suddenly said "Mommy I'm gonna throw up." Sister jumps out and gets youngest out of the car to throw up. My wife is trapped because of her proximity to the building. Before my youngest is done. Helen is out of the building with napkins ginger ale and saltines. Guys, kindness always counts even if it starts as sarcasm so long as you follow through. You never know who is behind that sour face until you try to get to know them. Helen is our family friend now.

Every WA voter attests they are a U.S. citizen. The penalty for lying is ≤5 yrs in prison &/or a $10k fine. And somehow people think that immigrants who won’t even go to the grocery store, who are afraid take their kids to school, are signing up for a felony by voting illegally?

Not only is Trump losing the war, he has also completely forfeited his legacy and base. This is panic. They are in a state of panic. And will surround him with fairytales now regarding how much his base loves him and hates Iran. We are reaching historical levels of delusion.

Read inbetween the lines: Trump is angry and they need to show him something positive. Zionists are now moving to Pravda, publishing fictional polls so they have something positive to put on his desk this morning. NO ONE supports this war outside of Never-Trumpers who have always been Israel-First. They are losing the war badly and seek to further delude Trump into believing his base wanted it.
