@DPGBehler Well for the Trinitarians that disagree with you (ISTM that there are many), both the plural and the singular pronouns supposedly refer to the same group (ie the Trinity).
Hard to understand how plural pronouns help their case when singular pronouns are equally suitable.
English

Trinitarian here. The plurals in Genesis 1:26 are not the Trinity. It’s God announcing to His heavenly host who also bear His image that He’s going to make humanity. That’s why v27 is singular when the creating occurs. Happy to help you out there.
You still need to repent of your heresy and become a Christian though.
Question The Trinity@QuestionTrinity
Trinitarian: God show us that he is Trinitarian by using plural pronouns in Genesis. Me: So why do you still call God “he”?
English

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.
English

@NASA_Tim Because that is what God told Jesus to say.
English

@QuestionTrinity Why then were we commanded to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?
English

@QuestionTrinity I mean, Genesis 1:26-28, Isaiah 44:6, Matthew 3:16-17; 17:5, and Revelation would disagree.
English

@RSticekWriter But the one god of Scripture just is the Father
English

@QuestionTrinity Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
One God functioning as all 3.
How is that so hard to understand?

Just a few examples
Rick Davis@TheRhetorRick
There is only one God (Deut 6:4) The Father is God (1 Jn 3:1) The Son is God (Heb 1:8) The Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4) The Father is not the Son (1 Jn 4:14) The Son is not the Holy Spirit (Jn 16:7) The Holy Spirit is not the Father (Jn 14:16)
English

@GeoffKlein3 No. YHWH is the proper name of a person. The Father.
English

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
Question The Trinity@QuestionTrinity
Scripture does not teach God is one divine being, it teaches God is one person - the Father.
English

@GeoffKlein3 Right. Where does Scripture teach a singular essence?
English

@QuestionTrinity Ahh yes, moves the goalposts immediately. Because the divine essence is singular and undivided.
English

@QuestionTrinity “He” is the analogical language of revelation.
English

@GodlyAction Give me a verse for that last claim.
I’ll wait.
English

@5Solas Know Jesus by the infallibly written creeds.
English

@mstevens73 Where does Scripture teach one being?
English

@QuestionTrinity God, (YHVH of the Bible) is ABSOLUTELY a being. As a matter-of-fact (as taught by Dr. R.C. Sproul) He is the ONLY Being in existence. Everything else is 'becoming' as its dependency for existence is on Him, the Self-Existent One.
He is certainly a Person (Hebrews 1:3).
