@DPGBehler EO gave you the Bible, RC schismed from us in the 11th century. People have been abandoning prot churches in droves for about a decade. It's actually Iconic because Luther revered the Orthodox Church and his immediate successors asked Constantinople for legitimacy.

My heart is broken by the fact that I’ve learned a woman I ministered to for years has returned to her old New Age life. Since 2018 I’ve ministered to ex-New Agers, and have helped lead and disciple many people through the early parts of their faith. This woman in particular was smart and seemed very solid in her faith, but one day I realized I hadn’t heard from her in a while. I then noticed she blocked me on all socials, and mutuals sent pictures of her posts that all but confirmed she’s returned to her old life.

I read a different versions every year. This year is NIV. Last year was ESV. I don’t read the KJV because I don’t want to.

@Captain__Ex Your philosophy is interesting. I’m interested in biblical theology though. And nowhere does the Bible say us existing is sin. Us praying is still sin. Us worshiping is still sin. Until you can prove that, I suggest you get a better theology, that’ll help your philosophy.

If you will sin, then you are in a state of sin. Jesus commands you to repent for sin, because he knows you will. If God is outside of time, then the future to him is the present, so if you are going to sin in the future, you may as well already have. So yes you are in an existence of sin.

Its not by mere existence, its because we have eaten from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and have become concious. But because we are not God, this knowledge corrupts us and you will invariably sin(error) even when you set out not to. You already understand this concept of learning by mistakes, its no different.
