SCOTUS won’t change birthright citizenship. As much as it pains me to say this because it’s the wrong decision but Amy Coney Barrett and Roberts will never do the right thing on a case like this.

@allie__voss @DrewSav I teach 7th grade ELA and it is very bittersweet to say that a top tier 7th grader blows away most adults. This is a typical item on the NC 7th grade EOG. Not particularly difficult, but most adults would get this wrong.

People forget that “reading” also means comprehension, it’s not just being able to sound words out Most Americans cannot read (and comprehend!) at a 7th grade level, which should be apparent to anyone who’s spent much time online
