@UnderSneege Huh? The Citroen C4 Picasso can fit 7 seats, all supporting isofix. What are you talking about?

I was struggling to recover the earnings from this page. Starting in mid-February, earnings, RPM, reach, and everything else dropped. I stayed consistent, trusted the process, and kept posting. Yesterday, after more than a month of frustration, the posts started earning decent money again. Has anyone else noticed that earnings are going up again on Facebook?

@TheCoolestCool Totally agree as a Canadian entrepreneur living in the UK, I think a lot of this would equally apply here.

@petecodes @lkr Never understood the hate. If you don't want to buy cereal just don't go. I seem to recall they had a bunch of different types of cereal available along with different milks that were not common at the time.

@lkr They got so much heat at the time. I had completely forgotten about them but they were all over the news for a while.

Wow this has to go down as one of the most painful business stories of all time These guys opened a cafe Had to close it Surely lost tons of money on the whole thing Let the domain expire Someone else picked it up and turned it around for £80k!!!
dan barker@danbarker

Remember that phase when a couple of guys opened a cereal cafe in Brick Lane? It closed a few years ago, but... they got so much PR at the time that the domain name recently sold for £80k due to the strength of all the links it had picked up.

@jessethanley Haha I went to one of those when I lived in Japan. Had a contest with some of my students to see who could eat the most. I won, by eating something like 120!

@TheMurkyDepths Have you tried any ad networks other than AdSense? Also unfortunate that a UK audience is worth a lot less to advertisers than an American one.

Google are killing smaller sites that aren't part of big organisations. Ad income is abysmal. Views and site visits are good (except where Google use AI to steal content and suppress views) but this is painful. Id love to *not* have ads but not enough revenue to keep site going

This is the most accurate depiction of the South that I've seen. I'm in the orange area. Is there a better map breakout?

Simple facts I'm terrified of my toddler discovering: - public parks don't randomly close - tv's don't run out of batteries - there is no actual world record for "fastest at putting away toys" - chicken the animal and chicken the food are one and the same Got any to add?

A few people are asking if it was the 'Cereal Killer Cafe' guys that still owned the domain name. Answer: it doesn't look like it. The domain expired in 2026, before being 'caught' and auctioned, reaching £80k.

@tomhfh @emsbooks1 I love the Barbican, but worth noting it was never built with 'lower class' in mind. Specifically for well paid City workers.

A striking reversal: in 2000 Iran’s economy was nearly 3× larger than Israel’s, today Israel’s GDP is bigger.

It's very funny to me that this policy is pretty much a mathematical guarantee that pensions will take up an increasing share of British GDP, every single year, forever, and it's politically impossible to change.
