Exactly 18months ago, I woke up and said to my husband "I'm never going to drink again" Here's my 1248 day update: It's the single greatest thing I have ever done in my life. I don't think that it's a coincidence that in that time: ~ my business tripled ~ my anxiety quite literally disappeared ~ my relationships dramatically improved ~ i started getting paid 5-figures to speak on stage ~ my self-esteem skyrocketed to the point someone asked me the other day "aren't you afraid of anything?" If your relationship with alcohol is healthy, awesome! More power to you. But if you're thinking leaving it behind, this is what worked for me: - I'm an all-or-nothing-girlie haha so having an extreme, blanket-rule of "never again" was helpful for me, maybe you'd like to approach it as more of an experiment. - I made it THE most important thing in my life. Above relationships, socialising, work, my normal routine and goals. The *only* thing that mattered for 90 days was not taking a drink. - I told everyone (to the point it was probably annoying ha!). Saying it out loud a) made it real and b) helped gave people a way to support me - If I wasn't feeling strong enough to say no, I cancelled my plans without apology. I didn't always trust I had the willpower in the beginning, so I changed the circumstance instead. - I invested in fancy mocktail mixers like Botivo, so I always felt like I had something special - I overloaded my info-diet with reasons why I shouldn't drink. Podcasts, articles, reddit threads. I guess this helped my logical-brain. - I also always found the "first no" the hardest. So if you get the urge, quickly say "no", and get yourself a nice alteranative.. for some reason the later "no" never felt so tough The first 90 days were the hardest. But slowly after that I could feel my brain rewiring. And when I tell you now the urge to drink has COMPLETELY disappeared, believe me (I wish someone had told me this at the beginning because I couldn't imagine that ever being the case) I'm rooting for you!!! 💛 Is this something you'd like to try? Or add your own tips below.

This is one of the most useful claude skills I've set up We have a "fact check" process that fact checks all ad copy, email copy, etc against our actual help docs We have this step baked in when any kind of copy has been written, to make sure AI hasn't hallucinated any product details

OK for my non-code work I can't see any difference from sol vs 5.5 It still does the same annoying thing of assuming it should not act now And still doesn't think like a founder Like I just asked it to eval a new tiktok posting strategy we've been doing in the past two weeks It only looked at the two week window instead of comparison to all the weeks before that

I had 2 big female starter story guests recently... and of course, there are loads of dudes in the comments having allergic reactions when seeing a girl doing more revenue than them. in the comments, dudes (and even girls) are belittling their success and even commenting on their appearance super weird but also very expected in our space which is 93% male and many in their 20s I've talked to a lot of girls who are hesitant to share their story, and I think this leads to girls avoiding entrepreneurship and social media altogether...

@kadavy you are so weird for posting this but reminds me of one of my favorite facts: "vegetable" is just a food grouping, its not any kind of scientific classification

Just so you know, there's no medically measurable designation for "explosive" diarrhea. There are no studies that discern what diarrhea is explosive or not. There are no scales for measuring diarrhea velocity or dispersion. Just another made-up term for getting clicks.

@lkr A challenge I have that I assume many people share is that I have a long list of projects that existing models can't handle. Whenever new agents come out, I have an unlimited supply of hard projects to throw at them for as long as possible.

I think maybe what claude didn't anticipate is that once we'd used fable we'd all want it as our main daily driver I continue to be really impressed by its judgement and thoroughness - it just noticed a girl was wearing a playboy logo shirt in our video which isn't on brand for us

You have a choice: put yourself in the hospital because you’re addicted to your terminal output or abuse these new tools to work less and spend more time with your family/on your health/hobbies. Yesterday, I burned ~250m tokens with @cursor_ai cloud agents but you wouldn’t have known because I didn’t open my laptop once. Too busy playing in the river and eating.

I'm done with them fucking with us. Ended up in hospital today from stress. Stayed up all night pushing my limits too hard, thinking it would be removed. Health comes first. Do better @AnthropicAI

Something you gotta understand about using AI is its *very* good at building *anything* just from the idea The tweet below is a good idea. And no shade to this guy, but you don't need to do his DM thing just tell ai the idea You can copy and paste his whole tweet or literally just say "make something that compares my ad against metas policies"
Mike Futia@mikefutia

I just built a Meta ad policy checker in Claude Code that catches rejections BEFORE Meta does 🤯 Drop in your ad copy → it pulls Meta's LIVE Advertising Standards, checks every line against the actual policy text, and hands each ad a verdict: Cleared for launch, Fix before launch, or Grounded. All inside Claude Code. Perfect for media buyers and DTC brands who've had ads bounced — or an account restricted — and never got a straight answer why. If you're finding out about policy problems only after the rejection email, resubmitting the same ad and praying, losing days of delivery while the appeal sits in review, and every bounce quietly teaches Meta to trust your account a little less... This runs the review before Meta ever sees the ad: → Drop in your ad copy (one ad or a whole batch) → It reads each ad and figures out which of Meta's policies apply → Scrapes the live policy pages from Meta's Transparency Center → Flags the exact phrase that violates, with Meta's own policy quoted next to it → Rewrites the risky lines so the message survives but the violation doesn't → Renders a dashboard: every ad, every finding, every fix in one place No guessing which word killed the ad. No resubmit-and-pray loops. No stacking rejections on your account history. What you get: → A verdict on every ad before you spend a dollar → The violating phrase + the policy citation, side by side → Rewrites that keep the selling intent → A report you can hand straight to your team or client Built 100% in Claude Code. No API keys, no Meta login. I'm giving away the complete Claude skill file. Want the skill for free? > Like this post > Comment "META" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)

This one of the cooler things Fable has done I've put off doing screen recording videos for YEARS. They're so tedious and I always mess something up Fable just batched 12 of them - made the whole plan top to bottom, filled in a demo account, everything

@lkr Shared skills are a real blocker in teams right now If you share a skill with your tram, and then you update your skill after an eval, everyone else has old skills, and you have a version control issue

They need to stop the tokens arms race and spend time on features that would lead to lock in. We have a Claude teams account and the shared artifacts are actually really useful. But they don't provide any way to share skills, context, etc among team members using Claude code. And I have to buy another account because the highest you can buy with a team account is "premium"
