@papaugwuibe @Tutubillions I was in Anambra actually. The best way to Awka was a flight to Enugu and then terrible 2 hour road trip to Awka. The local infrastructure was awful and insecurity was rife. We weren't allowed to go out after sunset, for fear of being kidnapped. Many other states were better.

@Tutubillions I was enjoying this your post until you said Peter Obi did ok as a governor. He was awful ... infrastructure was terrible and insecurity was rife. We the visitors then were advised to stay in our hotels in the evening. Please don't compare Peter with Donald Duke.

My perspective on the ongoing crisis in the ADC apart from the fact that I already believe and talk about their incompetence constantly
In politics, you examine every possible outcome from any decision or situation you find yourself, especially a very predictable outcome as this, it’s incredibly difficult to understand why the ADC supporters have decided not to seek any form of accountability from their leaders, and now the milk has already been spilled, instead of immediately begin to scramble for solutions, they’re talking about protest

Peter Obi, 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), says he will work with every member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in spite of the corruption allegations against them.
Speaking on Saturday on Magic FM in Aba, Abia state, Obi said getting closer to them offers him an opportunity to change them positively if they are guilty.
@PeterObi cited Jesus Christ in the Bible, whom he said associated with prostitutes and tax collectors while on earth, to change them positively.
“When Jesus came here, his friends were tax collectors and prostitutes because it’s all part of what he was trying to change. It was all part of what he was trying to build as a person,” Obi said.

Dear coalition members, INEC has just said that they won’t recognize David Mark’s position as the chairman of ADC. This means that our planned convention that’s scheduled to hold on the 14th of April, will not be recognized. We need to occupy INEC office as soon as tonight. This is unacceptable and a threat to democracy.

Nigeria’s 'criminality' is structural. Does Obi have the liver to go after the oil thieves and the high-ranking 'untouchables' that actually run the country? Or is this just talk for the grassroots?
If he really means this, his own party and inner circle would be the first to fight him. A Nigeria without 'criminality' is a Nigeria where most of the current political class is in jail.

I’m not carried away by Kwankwaso. People not aware of history are carried away with the VP talk.
This was in 2019 where Kwankwaso campaigned for Atiku/PO in Kano. The crowd was the most anyone had ever seen.
But look at the result below from Kano in that same election against the Incumbent Buhari.
The underlying issue is INEC. Nigerians are not addressing that issue. History must not repeat itself.
The INEC conundrum is the elephant in the room and the elephant is becoming a bit too comfortable in the room.
