Feel for Slot cos Wednesday night's game is a banana skin. He either picks a strong side and risks tiredness for the league game on Saturday, or he picks a weak side with kids and ressies and gets beat and records a 6th loss in 7 games. Palace WILL turn us over if we go weak.

In some ways Jackson makes more sense for Newcastle than Sesko. Sesko was overpriced and I don't particularly rate him, I just really wanted Newcastle to get a striker. Jackson's finishing is obviously a problem but he's a tireless worker and good at other parts of the game.
