My former colleague @TulsiGabbard is spot on when she warns about the dangers of nuclear war. I wonder if she can convince her fellow political elites and her boss to support proven tactics to reduce nuclear threats: diplomacy and arms control.

Calls for increasing spending on nuclear weapons is a predictable reaction from people who benefit from nuke production. Why aren't we asking how even more nukes improve our deterrent at all when we already have more than enough to deter - might there be a better approach?

@tribelaw might your comments in @BostonGlobe about North Carolina voters' challenge to Cawthorn's ineligibilty to stand for election under Sec 3 of 14th Amendment to the Constitution apply to any future Trump candidacy, and if so, are there plans for a challenge in such an event

Of the existential threats to humanity (pandemic, climate change & nuclear catastrophe), a nuclear disaster from mistake or miscalculation can end the world as we know it in 30 minutes or less. We can do something to lower the risk that Trump has exacerbated over 3 years- VOTE

On July 17, 1945, the day after the Trinity nuclear test, nuclear physicist & Council founder Leo Szilard wrote a petition to President Truman urging him to consider the moral responsibilities of atomic use and to not use an atomic bomb against Japan before asking for surrender.

Despite his disregard for his obligations as a Congressman, Pence failed upwards into the second highest office in the land. If he thinks the Trump Administration is not obligated to share “sensitive” information with Congress, then he is not worthy of the office he holds.
