🚨UPDATE: After some digging, I finally found the video from six years ago of Senator Fischer being sworn in by Mike Pence, with her husband by her side. To my expectations, after the oath, her husband gleefully shook Pence’s hand and thanked him for his leadership. Before they left, he shook his hand again. Given his refusal to shake Vice President Harris's hand today, I suspected him of being a bigot. Now, I’m certain.

My car completely shut down on Capital of TX Highway this morning. Called police when I realized I couldn’t put it in neutral to get it to the side of the road/would be a traffic hazard. It’s now been an hour (still waiting for tow truck) and still no APD. 🫠

@Square While inconvenient for service to go out, I have a basic calculator, cash box, notebook & a few pens. I also provided my Zelle & Venmo QR code at the register to customers w/o cash. SMALL BIZ: 101 ish happens, always be prepared to go old school. BE YOUR OWN BACKUP, HAVE A PLAN.

Since around noon PT on Thursday, sellers have been unable to access accounts or process payments due to a systems outage within Square. We know you trust us with your business, and these situations add challenges to running your operations. For that, we are truly sorry.

@DressedinD @Square I manually record last 4 digits of card and the customers contact # anytime I have to go into offline mode (my wifi used to be really really bad) I also didn't take offline payments from everyone, if I wasn't willing to cover the cost of it, I told them cash, Zelle, or Venmo.🤷‍♀️

@Square I am not using offline payments. 5 separate offline transactions over the past week were declined once the system went back online. I lost hundreds of dollars as a result. Your offline system is completely unreliable, and you make it impossible to resolve declined payments.

@PaperPlaneCffee @Techknowledgeme @Square They were logged out of Square. If you can't log back in (which u can't when it's down), you can't flip to offline payments.
