Israel created this by trading prisoners for hostages. You don't need a death penalty to fix that. Just some people with working brains in the government. Israel created a cycle where terrorists murder innocent people and then wait in prison for their groups to obtain hostages to set them free. IThat cycle ends if there are no terrorists, like Sinwar, waiting to be traded for hostages. It is specifically necessary for terrorism-related cases where that strategy has been used. Also, I would appreciate it if the people who support places that have legally enshrined the death penalty for crimes like selling land to someone who is Jewish or preaching Christianity to someone who is Muslim, please skip the lectures on the morality of the death penalty for such cases.
