Excited to see what you're building Shaw. Your post touches on some common questions so want to give a thorough response. 1. Proof of human is not identity Proof of Human is actually the opposite of identity. An identity system is designed to prove who you are. Proof of Human proves what you are (a human) without revealing anything about who you are. That's what makes it special. The ability to prove you are a human without revealing anything about which human. People can sell their identities if they want but they can't use World to do that. They need to use a passport or drivers license or something like that. 2. Proof of human is not "human in the loop" The ability to delegate your Proof of Human to an AI(s) is a feature not a bug and one we actively promote (onemolt.ai). If you want an assurance of human in the loop you could use PoH + face auth but Proof of Human is most useful when a human doesn't need to be in the loop and that's a good thing! 3. The last thing you are touching on is incentive structures with the proactive "rent a human" framing. In the case where someone is being paid to do something and they are doing it freely. I again would consider this to be a feature not a bug. It can get problematic if someone is effectively paying people to sybil attack a system but economically, that is generally not feasible because if the value of the action is higher than payment for the action why would people not just act independently? And if the value of the action is lower then the payment, the attack fails economically Broadly, my hot take on Proof of Human is that it's both wildly overrated and underrated. Overrated because people think it solves all sorts of things it actually doesn't solve. Underrated because the things it solves are incredibly unique and important. Excited to see what you build!
