i made a private journal app and have been writing to myself for about a year now yesterday i added a feature which lets me summon AI to respond to me at any point it can see my entire journal so i asked it "I want you to tell me like how I’ve progressed from the very first journal entry" it's response has me laughing out loud and yeah - a year ago I WAS getting excited about $100 MRR, only dreaming of $10K MRR and now, a year later, i'm doing well over that i fucking did it i actually did what i set out to do god damn that feels amazing

My first little SaaS day 1: 64 accounts created 22 trials started I thought the primary usecase was the funnel creation. But the most popular feature has been creating the ads. And I guess that makes sense. There is a lot of friction to setup the funnel: Training the platform on your idea Generating ads Setting up meta ads Adding the pixel (Ideally this will be streamlined in future. Just waiting on my authorisation from meta to integrate into their API) But an eye opening first day nonetheless

I joined 𝕏 1 year ago with no audience, no network, and no idea what would happen. 1 year later: • Earned money online using 𝕏 • Built a viral desktop app • Got paying users • Got selected for GSoC'26 • Connected with incredible people in tech • Made friends I will never forget The biggest gain wasn't the followers.
