@AndrewYang It’s not about what’s good for America. It’s about power. The heads of major businesses and foreign governments will have to individually petition the king. This is what he wanted.

Let’s say I wanted to use tariffs to influence industrial policy and create jobs. I would communicate them well in advance. I would target specific industries. I would give companies confidence they could make long-term decisions. I wouldn’t spring them. This is a dumb approach.

There is too much hubris in our politics. Too many people who think they have all the answers. Let’s go out and have deep and thoughtful conversations with people. Listen to them. And then earnestly work to address their concerns and rebuild trust. 10/12

@prchovanec All I keep thinking about is the meeting Trump had with Putin in Helsinki. A complete embarrassment.

One of the biggest “aha” moments for women I coach on dating: Don’t be closed off to every man except the very specific kind you want. You have to open your heart to everyone and develop strong boundaries. And I mean everyone. Strangers, old people, kids. The healthy man you’re looking for wants to *feel* the overflow of love and joy in you, not like you’re holding out your empty love cup looking for water in the desert. Women *think* they can selectively open their heart to some men and not others… but it doesn’t work that way. If you close your heart to most men, it’s felt by all men, including the ones you want. Having a closed heart either makes you energetically invisible to the kind of man you want, because he literally can’t feel your presence or warmth in public spaces or on dating apps… or it scares him away because once you’re dating, he feels your massive anxiety and high stakes for this relationship, like you want to be instantly married even though you met 2 weeks ago. He knows you don’t even like him, just the idea of him, and he gets the ick. Flip your funnel. Be open and loving to all, with deep knowledge of what you want in a partner, and the ability to honor your desires in all moments. (Learning how to set easy breezy boundaries and politely decline things is one of my favorite things to coach people on, and a total game-changer in dating. The lighter it feels for you, the better.) If you do all this… when multiple amazing men walk your way, you’ll act from abundance rather than scarcity, and end up in a relationship that feels like both of you hit the jackpot. 🤍

@GaryWinslett They should move to the left on economic issues. But for non college educated voters - loan forgiveness not only doesn't help them - but makes them mad. So it’s just about different left economic issues (paid family leave for example), and free pre-k

Let me be clear. I don't think it's just a cultural thing. Democrats should also move to the center on economics. Ideas like student loan forgiveness are not just bad on the merits, they're killing us with non-college voters, rural voters.
Gary Winslett 🌐🇺🇸@GaryWinslett

If these results hold, I think that makes a strong case for Democrats moving right on cultural issues (however much some Democrats won't want to hear that). They've got to do something to cut into these enormous margins in rural areas and among non-college voters.

@SisBoomBahaha @speechboy71 @AshaRangappa_ Perception is reality, working class people have a diff media ecosystem. Kamala didn’t strike anyone as a “working class candidate” but Trump fooled people with the McDonalds and garbage truck appearances. Kamala didn’t do that. her margins with women didn’t overcome that.

I keep seeing the argument that Democrats abandoned the white working class, but from a policy perspective most of Biden’s legislative accomplishments benefited the working class. The sad reality for Dems is that “doing things” simply doesn’t translate into electoral benefits
