Built in weeks. A $1.2 billion contract awarded to a company operating out of a single-family home in Virginia.
He begged for days for his asthma medication.
Staff refused.
Then five guards held him down.
One put an arm around his neck and squeezed.
Until he stopped breathing.
The medical examiner ruled it a homicide.
Hemorrhages on his neck. Petechiae in his eyes.
ICE changed their story three times.
After the homicide ruling, DHS’s response was to call him a criminal.
As if that’s an answer.
