In case you're not "in the know", these sudden moves with intention are almost always options related. When too many call options buyers are in the money for an upcoming Friday expiration, there is every incentive to move prices in a way that maximizes the dealer profit. Science.

@nicrypto from 12 unresolved issues down to 2-3 is actually meaningful progress. JPMorgan flipping from lobbying against stablecoin yield to calling it 'nearly done' is the most interesting part of this story.

@AshCrypto BTC has historically lagged M2 by about 10-14 weeks. if that holds, this gap is a setup for Q2-Q3. or M2 reverses and closes it from the other side. we'll see.

@TedPillows the Coinbase premium flip is the key thing to watch here. it's been a pretty reliable short-term signal. if it goes negative before Friday close, the chart setup gets messy.

This is how distribution looks. Price is going sideways, but spot demand is in a downtrend. Coinbase Bitcoin premium is also about to flip negative, which often signals reversal. If stocks even show a slight weakness, the $BTC downtrend will accelerate.

$BTC is right into its $74,500-$76,000 resistance zone. Despite SPX's new ATH, Bitcoin is unable to reclaim this zone, which is a sign of weakness. IMO, BTC is now very close to its local top, and the chances of another downside are very high.
