He was imprisoned for nearly 4 years as an innocent man, held without bail, spent 2 years in solitary confinement pre-trial, endured abuse, starvation, denied medical care, family visits, and a fair trial. Released in Jan 2025 when President Trump commuted his 17-year sentence (for seditious conspiracy & related charges) to time served; most other J6 defendants received full pardons, but Biggs did not. Without a full pardon, he can't regain his earned military benefits. He has no prior criminal history, now struggles as a felon to find work, and needs dental care & PTSD treatment.
