I have a serious question for New Yorkers and supporters of @ZohranKMamdani . Why won’t our mayor acknowledge the murder of 83 year old Richard Williams. A cancer survivor and a military veteran of our 🇺🇸. A man who fought for the very freedoms that allow our city and country to flourish today. Where is the media asking the mayor - why no respectful acknowledgement? I’m not even including that the perpetrator was a migrant. Where is Room 9 in City Hall? Mr Williams appears to be a nice elderly man who thrown to the tracks in a NYC subway station and no respectable acknowledgment from our mayor. Sad. Anyone want to opine? @JustinBrannan @SalAlbaneseNYC @politico @THECITYNY @nytimes @Gothamist @nypost @samraskinz @sidrosenberg19

Ed Piskor died a year ago today. I wrote some reflections about him on my Substack (link in next tweet). Rest in peace and best wishes to his friends & family.

More than 25 different language were spoken on the tip on Manhattan by the mid 17th century and a creole language was already being mentioned in the archival documents from the period. During court hearings involving WIC African Slaves, interpreters are needed for which appears to be a dialect similar to the Portuguese and Spanish influenced Papiamento spoken on the ABC islands today. By the time of the Revolution, Continental commanders in the northern district of New York are complaining about the cultural differences and communication issues with the NY militia, heavily drawn from the patroonships of patriot leaders like Schuyler and Rensselaer. Fast forward to the early 19th century and we have accounts of a peculiar local Dutch slang spoken amongst both the black and white sailors along the Hudson and out west through the Erie Canal.

Asked multiple times, @Bruce_Blakeman wouldn’t say whether he opposes his rival @GovKathyHochul’s proposed changes to environmental review laws to build more housing. Several business groups on his native Long Island have come out in support.

I asked Matt Gaetz What Is the Most Disturbing Alien Finding He Learned In Congress: Alien 'Breeding Programs' and 'Non-Human Biologics' "I had someone come and brief me who was in a military uniform, worked for the United States Army, that was briefing me on the locations of hybrid breeding programs where captured aliens were breeding with humans to create some hybrid race that could engage in intergalactic communication. An actual uniformed member of the United States Army briefed me on that." "In crashes of craft that had been recovered by the CIA... it wasn't just the hard materials, it was also biologics, but that they couldn't identify a human source of those biologics."
