@TheAthleticNHL @PierreVLeBrun I know it’s not a democracy, but Gary seems like the ONLY ONE who wants the current playoff format. Who cares if it makes the first round great if it makes the next three rounds less exciting because you’ve eliminated some of the best teams and biggest stars right away??

NHL commissioner Gary Bettman has long supported the current playoff system, which doesn’t seed teams 1 through 8 in each conference. His stance didn't change at this week's NHL GM meetings, despite push back from some in the league.

@TGL I’m a huge fan! However, two things have got to go next season. 1. Patrick Cantlay. Watching him ignore his teammates all night was awful. He doesn’t match the vibe for TGL. 2. Full Swing. The new team and theme holes are cool and fun, but there’s just too much inaccuracy.

@andystrickland Absolutely not! The league just needs to set a standard and maintain consistency in all situations, no matter the circumstances.

Should there be a diff standard if a superstar player is targeted vs a depth player? Seems like some expect or want a stiffer penalty from player safety if the injured player is a star. Should it matter?

Scottie Scheffler did return to his TaylorMade Qi10 driver this week after playing the new Qi4D at the Hero World Challenge last month, but don't expect this move to be long term. Scheffler's pretty close with his testing and as well as he's playing, it's just hard to mess with that. If you recall, Scheffler used a new Qi10 driver for one round at the 2023 Hero before switching back to the Stealth 2 for the final three rounds on his way to a win. He didn't switch back to the Qi10 until Phoenix, but he ended up winning 13 times and three majors with that driver. These things are a process. Scheffler did switch to a new Qi4D 7-wood this week. Similar to his Qi35 model, this one is a shorter build and stronger lofted to fit the necessary carry gap.
