AI is built on humanity’s collective knowledge. The wealth it generates must benefit humanity — not just Elon Musk, Sam Altman and other AI oligarchs. That’s why I’ll be introducing the American AI Sovereign Wealth Fund Act — to give the public a direct ownership stake.

Looks like they meant it.

Researchers just estimated the size of all the LLMs by asking it knowledge questions of varying degrees of obscurity! – GPT 5.5: ~10T params – Claude Opus 4.x: ~4-5T – Grok 4: ~3T The idea here is that factual capacity scales log-linearly with size. The paper shows 7 knowledge tiers and T7 is essentially ~0% for all models, suggesting there is still significant headroom for pretraining. Gemini 3.1 Pro is likely >10T given its used as an anchor but has no direct estimate. This means we can infer what different models might cost to some degree and their post-training effectiveness (performance at certain non-factual tasks given its size). One of the coolest papers I’ve read of late.

developers.openai.com/api/docs/guide… **NEW: GPT-5.5 Prompting Guide** "GPT-5.5 works best when prompts define the outcome and leave room for the model to choose an efficient solution path. Compared with earlier models, you can often use shorter, more outcome-oriented prompts: describe what good looks like, what constraints matter, what evidence is available, and what the final answer should contain. Avoid carrying over every instruction from an older prompt stack. Legacy prompts often over-specify the process because earlier models needed more help staying on track. With GPT-5.5, that can add noise, narrow the model’s search space, or lead to overly mechanical answers. For more detail on GPT-5.5 behavior changes, start with the Using GPT-5.5 guide. This guide focuses on prompt changes that follow from those behavior changes. The patterns here are starting points. Adapt them to your product surface, tools, evals, and user experience goals."

Codex is not like claude code. if you know the limit is going to end, like last 10 to 8%, give an very long run task, and even after the limit got ever, it will continue to do the task until the task was completed. Shout out to @OpenAI team.

completely disagree. buying Cursor is a genius move by Elon. wouldn't be surprised if xAI had the best coding model 12-18 months from now

Dario is wrong. He knows absolutely nothing about the effects of technological revolutions on the labor market. Don't listen to him, Sam, Yoshua, Geoff, or me on this topic. Listen to economists who have spent their career studying this, like @Ph_Aghion , @erikbryn , @DAcemogluMIT , @amcafee , @davidautor

NEW: Ramp AI Index out today with FT @tryramp - Anthropic will surpass OpenAI in adoption within a month or so - Businesses shrugged off the DoD security designation

Wow! Major leak from Anthropic today! Internal model code names = Capybara, Tengu, etc. Unreleased model version numbers Opus 4.7, Sonnet 4.8
