I'll toss out some stuff to help props people as there are plenty of landmines out there today. Can't be good long-term at props if you can't nail minute projections. from @CBBAnalytics Are these minute increases real/sustainable or fake? Miller - Fake. Houston off b2b blowouts and Sampson has ALWAYS been willing to punt B12 tourney games. Unders or pass Richmond - Real. Injury-driven (Knox/Pringle). 2.4 Fouls per 40 is why we've also seen his consistent minute ceiling. Also the worst matchup on Arkansas for any non-Center as the most rim reliant guy 1 through 4 Ewin - Coinflip. Look at the diff in his PF/40 over the last 5 games (2.6) compared to the full season (4.4). Pringle set to return hurts that ceiling. One of worst matchups for any player in the S16. Could foul twice before the first media. Pringle could foul 4x in 10 minutes and Pringle plays 30 b/c he stays out of foul trouble. WIDE range of outcomes guy Pope - Real. Minutes have been at the expense of Sim Wilcher who is 3rd lowest on this list. Plus matchup against a Purdue team who forces a ton of 3's and don't have much athleticism & length on the perimeter to contest. Also popped up with an ankle injury (Q) Koch - Real. Has played full minutes the last couple games when he hasn't fouled and hasn't played Michigan, which was likely an in-game change from BMC. Played 32 & 38 mins vs. Corn already. Only off-ball 3P guy for Iowa who has mid-30s minute upside Swain - Real. Miller unleashed his dude as their season has been on the line recently Thomas - see Richmond but better matchup as someone who can score in the midrange against Zona's drop as well as 3P upside. Codie - Real (*FOR THIS MATCHUP*). I think there are opponents when Codie could play 10 minutes. Purdue is all-in on their Cluff/TKR lineup, so Texas could need the double big. Poor rates, there probably aren't props for him, but maybe a DFS dart Cluff - Real. Mentioned how Painter has fully iced Jacobsen (finally) and Purdue has taken off (shocker) Combs - Not Real. Not Fake. I'd call it "flimsy" b/c yes the 30+ minute upside is there, he played 43 (OT) & 25 vs Corn, but all these rotation guys' playtime is still contingent on whatever BMC schemes up in his noggin
