Motherโs Day may fall on different dates โ last Sunday in the UK, this Saturday in Egypt โ but for me, itโs every day. I remember my brave mother, who taught me to stand strong against bullies. RIP Mum ๐

This is a compelling interview with SDP leader @WilliamClouston on the 'Heretics' podcast with @AndrewGold_ok. I would urge everyone to watch it. William is one of the most interesting and thoughtful political activists/commentators in Britain today. youtube.com/watch?v=dtHv2aโฆ

On the anniversary of the Westminster attack, we remember Leslie Rhodes, Andreea Cristea, Aysha Frade, Kurt Cochran, and PC Keith Palmer. My thoughts are with their loved ones. It was an attack on our city, but it could never break the values we hold dear.

That's a serious accusation to make, @SteveReedMP. To which racial group do you believe I was racist? If you can't answer, we'll be free to conclude you're a liar. x.com/ArchRose90/staโฆ

If your Faith feels undermined by chocolate box branding, diverse TV adverts or 8 mins of public prayer at a 2 hour interfaith event, then it isnโt your Faith under attack, itโs your sense of control, your discomfort with difference, and your understanding of what Faith really is

Car crash interview for Housing Secretary Steve Reed. He branded Nick Timothyโs comments as โracistโ. When his lazy accusation was challenged by @CamillaTominey, he referred to other faiths. Christians, Hindus, Jews etc have never had sex-segregated prayers in Trafalgar Square.

One storm. One fallen tree. One field in the Lake District. โ๏ธ The entire global pencil industry. There is a field in the Lake District. Nothing remarkable about it. Fell sheep, grey sky, Cumbrian rain. Until one day a storm came through. It uprooted a tree and underneath the roots was something nobody had ever seen before. A black substance. Soft, dark, left a mark on everything it touched. The shepherds didn't know what it was, but they used it to mark their sheep. That was 1565. It was the purest deposit of graphite ever found on earth. The only one like it. Ever. ๐ Word spread fast. The Crown seized the mine, put armed guards on the fell and flooded it between diggings to keep the price high. Stealing graphite became a criminal offence. Punishable by transportation to Australia. Because this wasn't just for marking sheep. It was perfect for lining cannonball moulds. It made England's cannonballs rounder. Faster. More deadly. โ๏ธ England had a pencil monopoly for nearly a century. Every artist, every cartographer, every engineer in Europe. All of them wanted what was in that one Cumbrian field. Slowly, workshops appeared in nearby Keswick. Cottage industries. Families cutting graphite into sticks. Wrapping them in string. Then sheepskin. Then wood. The pencil was born. โ๏ธ In a Cumbrian field. Because a storm uprooted a tree. There is still a pencil factory in Keswick today. On the same site it has always been. Did you know that? These islands have thousands of stories the world has forgotten. We find them. We tell them. We put them in front of millions. You help us make that possible. Be Part Of Us. Be Proud Of Us. ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ๐ฌ๐ง proudofus.co.uk

๐จBREAKING: Womenโs Safety Groups Surge Across England Women are rapidly forming female-only community and online networks nationwide in response to escalating safety concerns. These grassroots groups meet to: 1. Share local intelligence on risks and discuss emerging threats 2. Distribute personal safety alarms, rape whistles, and self-defense tools 3.Organise regular street patrols for visibility and deterrence 4.Coordinate safe school runs, group escorts, and buddy systems for children and vulnerable women 5.Log and report suspected criminal activity, including incidents linked to illegal migration 6.Collaborate with neighboring communities to monitor and address public safety issues 7.Create safe, welcoming spaces for women to gather, chat over tea, and build solidarity Across Britain, ordinary women - mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and daughters - are uniting in a powerful grassroots movement centered on prevention, solidarity, and the protection of women and girls in public spaces. British communities are on the rise. Orangisation: โก๏ธ@pinkladies_uk

โThis morning Iโve been at Madina Mosque and joined in prayers with everyone for Eid,โ says Green MP Hannah Spencer. Liberal white women are now actively promoting the most patriarchal, regressive, anti-feminist religion in history. Astonishing, really. ๐คฏ
