I am extremely worried about the quality of Australia's politicians. We can't afford knee-jerk policy, we need intelligence. Victoria has had strong knife laws for decades. Instead of dealing with the issues behind knife violence, they've doubled up on a law.

@SBSNews Mike, I you're a bloody marvel. You've work so hard to fill a void which should never have existed. You've had to think around the most ridiculous problems as governments dropped ball after ball, often (usually) deliberately. Thank you Mike.

While some people were building puzzles or baking sourdough to get through the COVID-19 lockdowns, Melbourne IT specialist Mike Honey started tracking case numbers. He's still at it — and earning plaudits from public health experts. bit.ly/4oQ8JTK

Australia, we're letting ourselves down. A nation of immigrants who treat the first nations with utter disdain whilst also persecuting immigrants! We give our resources away whilst pricing ourselves out of housing, food, and energy. Look up, we agree on the problems. Grow up.

Blimy @NFFC, you've thrown yourselves a second hospital pass! It was bloomin obvious that Postecoglou wouldn't turn the ship quickly. You knew who he is and what he brings. To fail to back the risk is quite extraordinary. True, none of us are in the clubrooms, but seriously!

It's #Bathurst2025 day, which demands controversy. In this case, that penalty for Golding. My 2 cents, unjust. He legitimately had the inside line and had the door closed. The justification I've read just doesn't stack up in my humble, memory of a bogan childhood, opinion.

Bravo @hufclub. Bloody awesome effort. Very weak yellow, sad if that seals the deal. Heads high, irrespective of the outcome. And once again, the keeper stands solid! So good.

Covid19 has been a significant issue in all major incidents I've been involved in since the 2022 floods. Sadly, instead of being treated as a serious risk, denial is the normal response. When will our agencies learn? When will we lead as we are trained? abc.net.au/news/2025-10-0…

@lavuelta @JaiHindley That wasn't the final stage of dreams. It's difficult to feel badly towards the protesters. They're doing what they can to help stop genocide. That's very important. Congratulations to @jayvine, bloody huge effort! Hope to see @JaiHindley up there competing for GC regularly.

@lavuelta has been very entertaining in many ways. It deserves a higher profile. @JaiHindley, do you have some final day magic? What a huge ask! Congratulations on another awesome performance. #couchpeloton

@traverselife @BernardKeane There's a great deal of unrest, simply because so many people know we've been totally let down by our politicians. Unfortunately, that leaves room for much misinformation and pot stirring. Heck, Australia can't even pull it together enough to benefit from our massive LNG exports.

Twenty two years ago when Simon Crean was refusing to back the disastrous Iraq invasion you wouldn't have picked it would be Labor that would so utterly subordinate Australian sovereignty to the US as Albanese and Marles have.

@traverselife @BernardKeane Yes, many do still hold onto that hope. But the last election made it clear that both majors are seriously on the nose. Both have let us down too often and in the most important ways. It seems the message hasn't gotten through though.

@CalCurious @BernardKeane The difference imo, is that we fully expect it from the coalition. And we’ve mostly remained hopeful that Labor is able to show some courage and work for us, our diverse communities, our extraordinary animals & environment AND our future.

@JJKALE2 @abcnews Bloody hell, that's a very safe claim. That's akin to saying 40 people are supporters of the Matildas.

@satisfiedaround @AMAZlNGNATURE Thanks for caring. It is super important. The global increase in wildfires is seriously under acknowledged, the #ClimateCrisis is absolutely here and now, despite what many choose to believe. But please learn, Koalas aren't bears!

This video broke my heart!!! That poor baby Koala bear. I wish the entire world would view this video in order to better understand the life-threatening venerable conditions associated with the animal kingdom. May God bless the brave soul that stepped in to save the baby bear. I wonder what happened to the baby bear's parents??? Credit: nine network

Dear @Mark_Butler_MP CC: @Mon4Kooyong TGA requested current Novavax JN1 vaccine submission (in use internationally for >6 mths) be withdrawn 2 Novavax vaccine versions withdrawn in a row, Australians who can’t medically tolerate mRNA w/o access & protection for 2 yrs now Help
Anita White. 😷@RealAnitaWhite

Access to Nuvaxovid in 2025 seems very unlikely. The TGA request to withdraw in form 10Q is for JN1, according to verbal advice from Biocelect. I have no further information at this time.
