If you combine House Democrats with all the Republicans getting drawn out in 2026, there are enough signatures to force a vote on a nationwide gerrymandering ban.
Some democrats need to step up and start leading an effort to make this happen.

Since this came up:
1) Axios: "You spent donor money to do the autopsy and then didn't provide" it, one [donor] told Axios. "It's not your money."
2) NBC: “He’s basically saying: ‘We learned a lot, we spent hundreds of thousands of dollars at least doing interviews in 50 states, and now we know a lot more about what went wrong and how to fix it, but we’re not going to tell the thousands and thousands of Democratic candidates around the country what we found out,” [Norman Solomon, ED of Roots Action] continued.
NBC also notes that Paul Rivera, who Martin chose to lead the review, was unpaid, which Ken points out. Also: both sources in those pieces could totally be wrong. But that's where those questions came from.
