@LibertyCappy No. Tucker is pro terrorist. Megyn Kelly is misandrist. Alex is actually retarded, he said so himself. Candace has been a disgusting lying cunt forever. Massie likes the perception of being based, but not the execution. MTG is merely a stupid woman scorned. Don't know the others.

So the MAGA position right now is we used to love Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Joe Rogan, Alex Jones, Candace Owens, Theo Von, Shawn Ryan, Thomas Massie, and Marjorie Taylor Greene but they all turned crazy at the exact same time? Did I get that right?

The Viet Cong flamethrowered villagers. They were not uniformly good people. After North Vietnam conquered the south, they straight up murdered about 60,000 people in re-education camps and another 250,000 boat people died trying to escape the re-education camps. The bad guys won the Vietnam War, and all my boomer buddies who look on the NVA and VC fondly are blind and deaf and retarded. That includes Lucas. That said, the modern Vietnam are mostly not the evil and corrupt men that were committing the atrocities, and I'm sure they're unaware of those atrocities.

@naijarseydoc @ok6ixx Sleeping is probably the least important part of a sleepover. The main purpose is to socialize and spend time with your friends.

@ok6ixx I get it. I went to pick my son up from a playdate once and the kids were about to eat dinner- pasta and butter. My son and I were shook! He was ready to go lol. My surprise was that she was even allowed to go to a sleepover in the first place. You have a bed. Why sleep over?

my cousin grew up in a jamaican household where her mom cooked heavy every single night, like rice and peas, curry chicken, oxtail type meals so when she was like 5 she went to her first sleepover at a friend's house and when it was time for dinner the mom brought out… grilled cheese and tomato soup my cousin deadass looked at her and said "oh that's nice, but when's dinner the mom was like "honey this iS dinner" she immediately called her parents to pick her up lmaooo when she got home her dad was confused like "i thought you were eating over there?" and she told him what happened her mom was Ashamed like "that is so disrespectful you can't just leave people's houses like that" but her dad could not stop laughing, it seems he brought it up at every family gathering for years

This feels profound at first, but I don't think it's true. There are notable examples like Hannibal Lecter, Shredder, and Immortan Joe, but most villains seem to either cover the whole face (Dr. Doom, Darth Vader, Jason Voorhees) or completely expose it (Joker, Thanos, Red Skull)

If you're going to create such a complex fantasy world, then you have to consider how your player characters will be situated in it. The DM here has created his hero to basically be an impoverished beggar, for some reason, rather than the son of a blacksmith or guild member--a man of means. Did the player just pop into existence with nothing? Does he have literally no relationships in this world, no connection to anyone or anything? No kidding your beggar PC can't afford a horse because you rigged the game by starting him with only 6cp and no help. Moreover, this is a very silly and basic problem to overcome. Here is the solution (other than actually giving him a background in the world): a lord has heard of the player's quest, and approaches the PC to tell him that he will provide him with the necessary starting gear, on the provision that the PC brings back a particular amulet or something that can be found at his destination. The amulet has no real monetary value, but is a locket with a picture of his wife, who passed away sadly, and is a sentimental keepsake he had stolen. Problem solved.

I initially liked him but that didn’t last. I agree he lost the plot. That said, I was appalled the first time I heard him referred to as “Eyepatch McCain” (by Tucker Carlson, if I recall correctly). Dude lost his eye in honorable service to our country and somehow people thought it was cool to make fun of that 🤦‍♀️ .

He served with honor (5 tours of duty). Then somehow generated the impression that he was enriching himself on Wall Street, was accused of drunk tweeting and accused of acting drunk on a Congressional trip (which got him a suspension from Congress from travel), then started a podcast, then wasted time getting into fights with Trump, then Catturd2 online. Subcommittee on Defense Intelligence and Overhead Architecture Chairman, and he's getting into twitter fights with freakin' Catturd2? Really? Dude, what are you even doing here? His proponents would argue that these are all bogus and specious claims against him, but that's a moot point now, right? Something went wrong SOMEwhere. The "eyepatch McCain" accusations stuck. I remember his defending U.S. taxpayers building schools for women in Afghanistan, and trying to guilt us all with it to keep going there. Look, schools for women in Afghanistan are nice for them, sure, but I daresay most Americans just want to win wars and then go home. Not laze around for decades flying pride flags up and down Afghan town squares and teaching them about modern art. Not all Congresscritters need to spend their time in the limelight. I think if he'd stuck to being more of a "nose to the grindstone" Congressman instead, quietly getting stuff done, he'd would've been unopposed this go 'round in both the primary and the general. But somewhere along the way... he lost the plot. And now he lost his primary. Oh well. Next!

Millennials aren't breaking down at 50 they're burning out at 30. Why? Because Boomers sold a story that no longer works. Millennials were told: "Go to college. Follow your passion. Success will follow." Instead, they inherited a rigged system. Student debt has tripled since 2000. Housing prices are up 150% in just two decades. Entry-level jobs now demand 3+ years of experience, while wages barely moved since the 1990s. The result is brutal. Millennials became the most educated generation in history, yet also the most anxious, overworked, and underpaid. One in four has no savings. 62% live paycheck to paycheck. Nearly half say they feel burned out all the time. Gen Z watched this collapse in real time. That's why 70% prioritize mental health over money, and college enrollment is down 15% since 2010. Gen Z isn't lazy. They're adapting to a system that failed the generation before them.

Hi guys, I want to buy a 12 inch ruler, that has all the marks on it, showing the inch, half inch, and quarter inch lines up to 12 inches. But I don't want it to be 12 inches, I want it to be 9 inches in total length, so that each inch is actually 3/4th of an inch. So like a 12 incher ruller that is fake, so that it would make whatever I'm measuring appear larger than what it is. Does anyone know of a place that would sell this?

@Ye_chairman @Dr_TheHistories This story comes from ancient historical accounts by Herodotus, not a movie. It details Xerxes I's affair with his niece Artaynte and Queen Amestris's brutal revenge on her family. Factinate based their post on that—check Herodotus' Histories for the full tale!

Xerxes was a notorious womanizer. He had many wives, and yet he still could not keep himself faithful. According to ancient historians, he even took his own niece as a lover. That alone was scandal enough. But what followed was far darker. Xerxes was the King of Kings. No one questioned him. No one punished him. And that included his wife, Queen Amestris. She knew better than to confront her husband directly. Accusing the most powerful man on earth would only humiliate her and change nothing. Instead, she waited. The affair came to light after a royal banquet, when Amestris learned that the woman Xerxes was obsessed with was not just another court favorite, but a member of their own family. Publicly, she remained calm. Privately, she planned. Her revenge was not aimed at Xerxes. It was aimed at the woman he loved. Using the absolute authority of the throne, Amestris ordered the girl seized. What followed was not a symbolic punishment or a quiet exile. Ancient sources describe brutal mutilation carried out under the queen’s command, a calculated act meant to destroy both body and dignity. Xerxes did nothing. The message was unmistakable. The king could betray her. He could humiliate her. But there were consequences he could not undo. In the Persian court, power did not always belong to the man on the throne. Sometimes it belonged to the woman who knew exactly where revenge would hurt the most. © Factinate #drthehistories
