@smalltown_wife My husband often didn’t get home until 6-6:30 (still the same now). We ate dinner as a family. Bedtime was 9-10:00. Good luck when they start extracurriculars! But the kid is 18 now & just fine. She survived! My friend did 7:00pm bedtime. Kids were up at 5am. No thanks!

@thechosenberg I’m with breadsticks on this one. Simple ask. All I wanted was a Sam’s birthday cake w/whipped icing. Instead my husband, last minute, got me a crappy grocery store cake w/waxy buttercream. We don’t exchange gifts by choice. I just wanted my Sam’s cake. Is it that difficult?

@travisakers Mine had me do 32oz Gatorade mixed with Miralax powder and 2 Dulcolax pills. Really wasn't terrible.

For the record, colonoscopy prep really sucks.

@travisakers @BobM61 The worst part is drinking the thick seawater tasting liquid…twice. 1. It’s disgusting. 2. I can’t actually handle that much liquid at once! 3. The intended effect. I had a colonoscopy last june and unfortunately due to precancerous polyp I gotta do it again this year.

@KeruboSk When you look back & can pinpoint the exact date and time your life changed forever. It will never be the same & you will never be the same carefree person you were before their death. There is a before time you can’t ever get back That’s how I feel after losing my mom 3 yrs ago.

What’s the grief milestone nobody prepares you for? Not the funeral. Not the first year. The weird specific one nobody talks about.

So the latest pictures of Harry and Meghan with Ted Sarandos and other celebrities for a Netflix BEEF event in Montecito have been deleted from Getty Images. All that survived is a wide angle shot where you can see Meghan. Why? Don’t know. Though I can imagine Meghan was furious that the horrifically unflattering images were widely distributed without her knowledge. But what’s ironic is that her fix would have been so simple. Wear the proper supportive undergarments, choose a different and more flattering dress with a more forgiving fabric, and not hang all over everyone like a needy teenage girl who’s desperate for the cool crowd to like her. Another unmitigated and unnecessary mess for the Montecito duo. Also, if you don’t want to be photographed, don’t leave the house. This is now the second time they’ve quite publicly demanded pictures are deleted. Not a good look.

@cassidenaep NASA feed said it’s to reduce the effects of seasickness on the astronauts who are already prone to gravity sickness. It’s the quickest way to get them to the ship & they don’t suffer the motion of the ocean on those little boats.

Someone please explain to me why they take the astronauts out of the ocean via helicopter instead of using the boats. It feels like the harness/helicopter situation is unneeded and more dangerous but I’m not an expert by any means.

@tastybits We treated our close family to a fancy dinner post wedding there back in 2002 & spent our 1st honeymoon night at the Hyatt. It was still good quality food back then. Maybe we’ll go back for nostalgia on our next anniversary!

@Bob_Janke @StefanNotSteven They are legal but because of your daft electrical supply they take about 8 mins to boil water, rendering them pointless. On good old British 240v you can boil a kettle in a minute or so.
