@nanahnkamu I don’t understand why pple cannot just import their own cars. Its actually not rocket science. Go to a reputable site. Buy the car. Go to bank, tranfer the money. Gari ifike msa. Pay duty. Pick your car with a small holiday coast. 😏

@lemugangg @SirTitusVeTech 😂😂😂problem yakatanga pavakatanga kuzviti mashofe 😂😂 now vakuona kunge vakurova cape to cairo nema truck akatakura vanhu

Why not? That’s a 14 km journey, a decent fuel saver does roughly 12km/l @ $2.08/l that’s maybe $2.50, which means a 50% profit for that ride. I think we’re too used to taking advantage of each other.

How much longer can the current InDrive model last? It can’t cost $5 to go from town to the airport, surely.

@ThabaniMal2237 @AfricaBeyondTv @PoliceZimbabwe As your username suggests, ukuwanza Whiskey iwewe, it's become a nightmare to drive on Zim Roads as a native Zimbabwean.
I'm tempted to think vehicle ownership is far from you, you defend stupid policies because they don't affect you. Do better mukoma @ThabaniMal2237
English

@AfricaBeyondTv @PoliceZimbabwe I don't know if I can all u an idiot or what. These vehicles are not registered in the country and am sure that answers your question. The law can only work for those that belong in the land

The ZRP has noted with concern false information circulating on social media on tourists’ vehicles movement and the use of roof top tents or roof racks. The ZRP makes it categorically clear that no tourists’ vehicles are being impounded in Zimbabwe for using rooftop tents or roof racks. The false information is dismissed with contempt it deserves. For the record, any tourist who need clarity should feel free to contact any nearest Police Station or National Complaints Desk on (0242) 703631 or WhatsApp on 0712 800197. The ZRP has also engaged Zimbabwe Tourism Authority over these false messages.

@econetzimbabwe has been seriously compromised but most people are ignoring this. When it comes to your doorstep, you will remember this post.

@rengozi @drjaytee87 Simbisa Brands Is Too Big To Fail. You can speak to your small group of people to not buy from Simbisa but for a business that's generating almost $1 Billion Dollars/year in revenue, your diaspora community will not put a dent to their business.
English

@drjaytee87 Iriko nyaya, I have even posted to people in Diaspora to avoid Chicken Inn, and let them tell their relatives back home to avoid Chicken Inn, till they put their house in order.
English

@KingJayZim @harare_1 @KingJayZim all respect to you. But its very unfair to make a conclusion on someone's character based upon a picture and a complaint from an anonymous person. As it seems , we haven't heard his side of the story

FROM OUR INBOX : I would like to name and shame this rude boy called Lesley Nyakatawa, am told he is the manager at the Helensvale food court by Zuva service station. On Sunday afternoon l went to buy burger and chips but clearly told him that burger must not have sauce or cheese, this l repeated 3 times and even said "l hope wazvibata", this l said because he wasnt paying attention as l spoke to him and knowing my child doesnt like sauce or cheese l didnt want to get a wrong order then have issues on changing etc. Gave him my card and swipped, l got my order only to realise that there were no chips, went back and told him that there are no chips and he says bring the card and pay for the chips, then l said aaah inga l paid for burger and chips and he just went bezek saying l only charged for burger and am like why and he said haiwawoo togara tichimaita ma error aya saka you want free chips hee hee, he shouted in the food court kuti varikuda zvemahara and was like do you think l will come here for free food just like that but guy was so rude and even shouting more instead of apologising until another customer paid for the chips for me and he insisted l wanted free food, honestly l felt humiliated and dissapointed.
Is this how managers deal with customers, yes l was still prepared to pay cash for the chips not swipe again but instead of being apologetic he kept shouting at me.
I actually wanted to slap him for his behaviour just that he went back behind the counter.
Those in authority at Innscor please deal with your staff.

@matinyarare The @grandtour final episode remains the best marketing Zimbabwean Tourism has ever received in History.
English

You make it sound like the work Wodemaya and I did in Zimbabwe was negative for Zimbabwe or Africa, yet this remains the best marketing Zimbabwean tourism has ever received in history.
Wodemaya came to Zimbabwe at a time the country was in the center of a negative media cycle, but six months later, Zimbabwe won a German tourism award for 2022 after seeing an increase in tourism while under sanctions.
In 2025, two years later, Zimbabwe was voted the best tourist destination by Forbes Magazine, citing all the places Wodemaya had filmed and gotten over 3 million views. So what was wrong with Wode working with Rutendo if it yielded such seriously positive results and conversions for tourism and brand Zimbabwe?
The Instigator@Am_Blujay
Lmao the friends he keeps

@matinyarare @JacNyoka @matinyarare Why do you feel entitled another man's money and resources, why cant you use the little that you have to make positive impact in your own capacity, you are embarrassing yourself 🤦🏾
English

You are clearly not following the debate. When Strive and the empowerment generation wanted to make money they didn’t ask for checkbox, non-tangible charity or scholarships, they demanded venture capital, grants, tenders and financial assistance.
So why is it that now that he has money he wants to give checkbox charity that leaves non-tangible benefits or deliverables to the next generation? Kuda Tagwirei built Arundel Hospital that is giving millions of Zimbabweans free healthcare.
Which single hospital, school, library or university has he built? Which businesses has he helped create? Which businesses does he give grants?
English

News has it Dr. Strive Masiyiwa has said that all the money generated by Econet on December 31st, 2025, will go to charity. We appreciate this renewed commitment to the Zimbabwean economy after years of neglect.
My plea to one of Africa's richest men is: we need more venture capital for tech businesses, research funding, startup capital for young entrepreneurs, business grants, and tenders/contracts to support new businesses. All we are asking for is what you and IBDC demanded and received to set up your businesses. Thats all we need billionaires to give the youth.
We also need more tangible charity, not the fleeting western tickbox charity. We need more billionaires who build and leave behind schools, universities, libraries, seed-banks and hospitals, as the Tagwireis have done in Zimbabwe at Arundel Hospital, or the Carnegies and Rothschild do for white people.

English

@matinyarare @matinyarare your obsession with Strive is sickening. Higher Life Foundation has been sending children to school since 1996, Arundel Hospital has been operational since Covid Era. KRT is doing good I admit, but you actually need to self introspect and stop misdirecting your anger
English

@PaulaZimb @thabanimnyama @DesignerGuyZw Why not just decline the ride?
Remember these are market fundamentals, someone else is always willing to take the ride you decline!
English

@thabanimnyama @DesignerGuyZw The problem one is Indrive app makes the passenger have the ability to lower prices below fair price eg 3.50 for 10km,thats insane and he has to pay Indrive and tax for each ride. When raining you can't see potholes and more likely to damage your car,
English

😂Let me explain what happens in the background
For some drivers iD is their livelihoods, $2 rides don't pay their bills & seeing other drivers accept frustrates them
So they deviced a plan
They login as a passenger & make a $2 false request. When you get there, you see no one

riillaforreal@riillaforreal
@DesignerGuyZw y'all aren't taking rides zvekumhanya at the suggested fair price ka imi, mukuda Mari hombe these days

I sold all my Bitcoin.
I am putting it all into physical nickels.
Yes, you read that correctly.
Here is the math: A nickel is worth 5 cents forever (legal tender). But the metal inside (copper/nickel) is worth 6.2 cents right now.
I am buying money for a 20%+ discount.
If copper price crashes, I still have 5 cents. If copper moons, I have a fortune.
People can laugh now but they won’t laugh for long. The downside is zero.

I’m bringing up Tanzanians role in the South African drug trade a lot this year because I feel like they don’t get enough smoke. Their ability to blend in with South Africans and not be loud like the Nigerians when committing crime, has led to us not taking note of how influential their drug gangs and networks are, the first people to directly sell drugs in my hood in Cape Town were Tanzanians.
