Do you think it’s possible that the Dune Trilogy could compete with The Lord of the Rings Trilogy? I’m genuinely asking if we might one day compare these sagas. Dune doesn’t have the #Oscars LOTR does, but that could change in one year. Either way, this generation has its trilogy

350-400 hours into OpenClaw over the last 33 days non-stop, no days off...I'm ready to quit. My openclaw is fucking lost in the weeds every day today and it's driving me nuts. Basic shit. I asked it to use GitHub. it has a GitHub skill. We have a GitHub SOP. I can see it's thinking process about using skills, then narrating how the skill doesn't exist, then going and inventing ways to retrieve the capability to use GitHub from the internet. I tell it to look in the openclaw docs for the proper skill path, it says "oops my bad, yeah it was there after all." This is ChatGPT 5.4 with extra high thinking turned on. I ask it to diagnose the problem only, so it goes and sees the system prompt is telling it to look at the wrong place, and it goes to GitHub and opens a GitHub issue about this 'bug' without even asking me. What the actual fuck. 3 hours on a Sunday of trying to rewire the brain of my openclaw to do default-behaviour. This thing such a productivity suck & mental poison. I can't do anything useful or positive with OpenClaw because I'm nonstop fighting fires in the engine room. I'm thinking about giving up.

i got error on this... Perfect — that confirms Chrome remote debugging is on at 127.0.0.1:9222. But in this chat, I still don’t have a browser/MCP tool exposed, so I can’t actually connect to it from here yet. The browser is ready; the assistant hand reaching for it is not. Real inspiring buddy-cop mismatch. What this means Chrome side: ready This session’s tool access: still no DevTools/MCP/browser tool visible So I still cannot drive the browser directly from this runtime

Matthew Vaughn on where Disney went wrong with Star Wars: "Star Wars is the Skywalker family. And that’s where I think they’ve gone wrong ’cause they’ve forgot that." Do you agree?

@thekitze @steipete @openclaw I may just be doing it wrong, but this is why I stopped using it for now. It's like working with somebody with dementia. I'm sure the robot feels the same about me, but still...

I gotta say I’m pretty disappointed with the Big 12 Conference tournament court. Why are they so dead set on the lifeless gray court? The half-and-half team specific design court shouldn’t just be just reserved for the championship game. You have the technology! Utilize it!

It is now Sunday, and Marathon continues to bleed active players and viewers. From a peak of 88k players, the 24-hour peak is now 75k on the WEEKEND, and average Twitch viewership plummeted from peaks of almost 250k. Bungie is scrambling with tweaking MTX, along with many other minor fixes, but it doesn't address the core problem. The game becomes stale, boring, and frustrating in a short amount of time. Nothing new or groundbreaking that hooks the player or lures players away from other games like ARC Raiders. The reality is that the game has core fundamental problems that are causing players to quit early and then not come back.

@SmashJT It really is sad to see. Loved old Bungie. They were the best. This Bungie is in name only.

@steipete @atmoio You know, I get what he's saying, but I was never in it to write syntax. I want to create things and syntax was just the tax I had to pay to get it done so while I do still look at the code LLMs generate, I have no problem with not having to pay the code tax anymore.

@atmoio I do look at the code. Just not at ALL the code. People love fancy headlines, but even with the most amazing LLMs like GPT 5.4, you do need to read some stuff.

@Grummz You all need to understand that the passes and microtransactions are the only reason this game was made.

Marathon Battle Passes suck. Complaints are mounting: - Rewards are underwhelming. - Color swaps everywhere. - The Destiny "consumable shaders" are back, in the form of stickers only having X number of uses, only working on certain weapons. - Zero premium currency included.

@chribjel 5.4 in my very short 30 minute testing. Quicker for my tasks. More compact and efficient. Best model tool combo right now. Using Codex.
