Sex offenses against minors have been automatically registerable for years, except in cases of illegal sexual intercourse with young girls. That is why I am proud to have sponsored “SB 680 - Sex offender registration: unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.” 1/

As we mark #domesticviolenceawarenessmonth I'm proud that @CAgovernor has signed SB535, the Victim & Witness Protection Act, into law. @AsmPilarSchiavo & I worked closely on this to protect survivors & witnesses involved in domestic violence, human trafficking & sexual assault.
