That’s ok, water under the bridge. You voted for IHRA definition of antisemitism, which is inexplicable and egregious. Of course, sending any kind of weapons to Israel is worse than the speech you blocked, but it’s against all progressive beliefs to equate criticism of Israel with antisemitism. I know that stuff is really popular in Washington, but it’s unacceptable to take our speech rights away like that. But everything in the past is erased the minute you start fighting. So, please fight as hard as you can against this war, the insane Israeli aggression and the occupation. No, you’re not fighting nearly hard enough right now. Lily talks about her Cuba trip with The People's Forum and basically says the quiet part out loud. She openly describes herself as doing “agit propaganda” to convert people to anti-capitalism, and admits that even if “90%” of what she saw in Cuba was lies, she would still come away thinking it was more humane than the United States. Will is not much better. Right out of the gate, he says he would be comfortable with Russia bombing the White House, then pivots into rhetoric about exploited people lashing out violently at executives. He throws in the usual “I legally can’t say that” disclaimer, but the implication is pretty clear. What really stands out, though, is how they talk about Zohran Mamdani. This is a good clip because it shows that for people this far left, Zohran is not some bold revolutionary figure. He is still too reformist, too little, too late. They are not aspiring to reform the system. They are openly talking like people who think the only logical endpoint is communism. That is the real value of the clip. It is not just Lily admitting she is comfortable with propaganda or does not care if Cuba is lying. It is that both of them are showing you a political mindset that has already moved well past reform and into open revolutionary thinking.

@FishThoughts and the fact that capitalism controls the land means that I don't have any other land that I can go and live on and build my own shelter and do my own work and trade and not be in the capitalist economy, that's how capitalism forces us, it's pretty damn simple.

I think people having the drive to go to the No Kings protest is commendable however I think that "No Kings" is really just antiquated and dated. A protest with that name and that purpose would have worked and the early 1900s or 1800s. It should have been the No Capitalists protest and had a list of demands AND concrete consequences if those demands weren't met. Then those consequences will be carried out without hesitation. That would have been better.

@FishThoughts for the second time, life requires work of course, food does not produce itself, houses don't build themselves, but there's a big difference between free people doing work versus people being forced to do labor for others.
