It has been over a month since our electric usage data populated in the @BritishGas app. Numerous phone calls to them. Repeatedly told its been fixed and yet nothing. New meters we didn't want. Endless cockups and promises. They simply must not care.

@FedExHelp I've waited in 4 days for a parcel that has managed to get to my local depot in the UK from India but for some reason nobody can actually deliver it. Any advice?

Hi @Fedex__Uk, any reason why you can safely get a parcel 5000 miles to the UK but can seem to get it the last 20 miles from your depot? I've waited in 4 days for this package and I'm still not sure it's coming today.

@TheTileApp I am looking at premium, can it be shared across all my family's shared tiles? My wife has her own, as do the children. We'd like to share them all across the family.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and enkindle in us the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit, and we shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth. Amen.

In each of us. This matters. So easily we mar God's image in us by defacing God's image in another human being. I pray each of these ordinands gets the opportunity to fulfil the purpose God lays out for them.

Exactly, and let this ordinand be judged on her living out her call to serve. Regardless of her hair colour. Can you, for a moment, place yourself back in that moment when seminary has finished, you're moving house, moving into a completely different context to anything

@CoRMirfield @susanhillwriter @BursonGrace @mthr_jo Comments are not intended to be personal - it is a comment on the image. You may think this doesn’t matter but ministry happens in an image-laden and judgemental world.

@EddieBGreen Hang on, is this for real? The deadline was during the BUSIEST week of the year? I give in. Also, why is it our error?

@FrCraigT Yes, it’s good. But his best cover is the Nine Inch Nails one. Oof.

Watching U2 in the Piano Room. They just did the most AMAZING version of One. Christian references are woven through their music. Have you come here for forgiveness? Have you come to raise the dead? Have you come here to play Jesus? To the lepers in your head. What a lyric 👌🏻

@C4pF4nt4stic @anon_opin Ahh, OK - then you're wrong. The day of rest at the time of the bible would have been the Jewish Sabbath, which was the Saturday. Sunday was the first day of the week.

Saturday and Sunday are "the week end". The Bible also says the 7th day is the day of rest and conventionally that is Sunday. The week starts on Monday, not Sunday.

@fesshole Hmm what confuses me is that whilst the church may not have been locked, the belfry usually is because the bell ringers generally have bits and bobs like a kettle, some biscuits, a tea kitty with cash etc. as a cathedral chorister I had keys to loads of stuff including belfry.

When I was a lad, I lived near a rather traditional C of E church that didn't lock its doors at night, until about the 8th time some little shit sneaked in at 3am and had a swing on the bell rope before legging it away. That little shit was me.
