
This is true but I'm noticing a bit of a dark pattern going on. Boomers in a 5 bedroom property sell to a foreign investor (the ALP tell us not to worry because "you could never afford that anyway"), and then the boomers downsize to the only thing a young person can afford within a reasonable distance from their workplace, a 1-2 bedroom apartment in a metro area. Leaving young workers up shit creek and metro neighbourhoods are just full of daywalking dividend boomers.
