@The_RUFC I think what did for him was his pig-headed intransigence regarding tactics and formations.

Good bloke, took a tough job, said he’d need 3/4 windows to sort this team - obv didn’t get it. Brought in/played young players with potential resale, had the best interests of the club/future at heart. We’ll never know if it’d have ever come good. All the best Hammy ❤️ #RUFC

@GrumpyMillerMan @Millermen_1925 All true, BUT, when Derby sought permission to talk to Warne they were refused. Then the subject of compensation was raised. Avarice soon reversed that stance. I believe Derby paid nigh on £1m to take Warne and his staff to Pride Park. Worked out well didn’t it?

@TheTivoliEnd @cal_howis David, he's so obviously out of his depth as a manager it's frightening. Being a good coach (mainly at youth level) does not make you a good manager. We can see it. I think the players can see it. The opposition can see it. But you know who can't, or won't, see it......

FWe're ok with being also rans, we're ok with this division being too much for us. We've let failure and weakness and apathy settle in from top to bottom. That was our best; it wasn't good enough. We're fine with that. We're in huge trouble. #rufc
