What’s your most obscure Zelda fact?

Another part is, honestly, my creative efforts have largely shifted to working for @ZeldaWiki the past few years. Look at the cute animation I made! zeldawiki.wiki/wiki/Sidling :D I never intended to abandon the Sounds site, and still hope it can be a valuable resource in some form.

I've been thinking ... Part of why Zelda Sounds is so outdated is due to the pressure of feeling so fallen-behind. I have not even played BotW once! The site may soon be rebranded as "Classic Zelda Sounds" to alleviate this. The older stuff still has room for improvement.

@HelpTheWretched RIP the best Zelda sounds resource apparently it was live last week, but it's been down since at least Friday.

@remargames Did I ever tell you my dad made an episode way back in the mid 90s? Levels start out newbish but show steady improvement. He's not much of a "creative works" guy so I wanted to appreciate them and managed to hunt down the WADs over 20 years later. Good old FTP server archivists.

My favorite Doom 1 WAD is "Deathless" by Jimmy! Three episodes of small, straightforward vanilla-style levels that are moderately challenging: doomworld.com/idgames/levels…

The Nintendo Switch version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker contains the Master Sword from the Zelda series. As the game started as a Zelda concept, this is either a remnant or a scrapped reference to its origins.

Twilight Princess is one of the best in the franchise Fi is significantly better then what people make her out to be. Zelda should be the main protagonist of a future Zelda title. I preferred "The Hyrule Fantasy" over "The Legend of Zelda" Majora's Mask >>>> Ocarina of Time.

You may be interested to know that I've been keeping busy as a staff member at @ZeldaWiki, another way to share my love for the series. Once some of our major projects dry up, I plan to try refocusing on Sounds. Thank you all for the years of support! 🤙

@Mr_strawbury Thanks, I'll keep these things in mind. :) I planned to let people submit ringtones but want to get a decent collection of my own to start with.

@HelpTheWretched what if with the ringtones and basic music, you did comical sounds or let people submit sounds and beats. i've seen more people using ocarina sounds on tiktok, link's sounds and navi. what your doing is still relevant. have you heard of uberduck.ai, could submit there

Hi folks! I know it's been a long time since the last site update. We're laying the groundwork on a couple projects that'll bring some new content; more info to come. I'm slogging through some MM recordings, and according to my watch it's almost Twilight Princess o'clock.

@Mr_strawbury Zelda music and ringtones are a lot easier to find these days than when my site was newer and I'd get requests all the time.

@Mr_strawbury One is ringtones, one is music. I had the ringtones section ready to launch a while back but all my WIP got deleted. Music was going to be basic/item stuff like Ocarina songs, opening treasure chests, etc. I wonder if those things are still worthwhile?
