Cool video of New Glenn’s fairing re-entry. For this flight we installed an exo-atmospheric reaction control system (RCS) in the fairing to control re-entry and enable recovery of the fairing. We’re planning a parachute recovery later this year, and the data from these fairings gives us the learnings needed to develop and refine that capability.

James Vowles has announced the signing of Claire Simpson from Mercedes as Williams Head of aerodynamic development. Simpson is an aerodynamics group leader, who had been working at Mercedes for over 10 years. She has started her work already at Grove on the Friday of the Miami GP weekend.

As expected, the #Colts did not pick up Anthony Richardson Sr.’s 5th year team option (for 2027 season). Projected north of $22 million guaranteed. So Richardson is officially in a contract year, with a $10.8 million cap number for 2026.
