If one more person in my replies starts inventing “facts” about IQ from thin air I’m gonna rage.

@Autistic_Lauren Using the Game Genie on NES. It was my first way to "alter rules" by just introducing randomness/modifications to existing codes. I then moved on to learning programming, modifying Snake and Gorilla in QBASIC.

We complain about Congress all the time, then re-elect 97% of them. I mean, this is a republic, and it's our fault.

@kennyhotz I record everything onto a VHS with a bad head so that I can spend hours adjusting the tracking. Why would anyone not want an interactive tv experience?!?

Normal people only watch long form on their smart TV or Playstation or whatever. Two clicks and sink into the couch. The world isn't full of terminally online tech dweebs
MoonTrigger@dragontroopbeta

@kennyhotz I watch online videos on my living room TV daily. Not on X with it's laggy, low resolution nightmare coded VIDEC.

Let's assume you can solve this. I think HOW you solve it says a lot about how your brain works. First, figure it out so you have your answer, then check the thread for what it all means.

@GamewithDave I believe I played Space Quest 3 was on 6 5.25" floppies. That being said, my College had a disk version of Windows 98 that was like 40 3.5" disks.

@paleochristcon Like a year after I moved to where I'm at we had some sort of emperor moth breeding event thing that occurs like every decade or two. So many air conditioners and crap died at our hotels from moths clogging up the works.

C pointers were invented because a systems engineer decided that instead of just passing the data, it would be much funnier to hand a junior dev the exact geographic coordinates of a landmine in ram.

It's amazing how little understanding of history and how little imagination many of you have. Saying AI will never take blue collar jobs is like saying man will never fly or muskets will never be surpassed.

Jeff Bezos, worth $234 billion, plans to replace 600,000 Amazon workers with robots. Now, he wants to spend $100 billion to fully automate not just his warehouses, but factories in the U.S & other countries. Oligarchs are waging all out war against workers. FIGHT BACK.
