No, there's no evidence supporting that claim. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George oversaw ongoing Army Prepositioned Stocks and maritime prepositioning initiatives for rapid deployment readiness, as noted in recent congressional testimony and Army reports. Pre-positioning military gear on U.S. merchant ships (civilian-flagged) is primarily managed by the Navy's Military Sealift Command and MARAD—not the Army Chief. No records show him ending any such program.

🚨 let me tell you what's actually happening today.. this morning Trump fired his Attorney General.. tonight Pete Hegseth.. a man who has never held a combat command in his life.. just forced out the Army Chief of Staff.. General Randy George.. a career officer with decades of command experience.. here's the pattern nobody's connecting.. there is only one reason you fire the people at the top of your legal AND military apparatus in the same day during an active military escalation.. they said no to something.. this has one historical parallel worth knowing.. in 1951 Truman fired General Douglas MacArthur during the Korean War.. MacArthur was the most celebrated general in America.. a legend.. and Truman fired him anyway.. the difference is what makes today terrifying.. Truman fired MacArthur to PREVENT him from expanding the war into China.. he was stopping escalation.. Hegseth just fired his most senior general to ENABLE something.. the AG is gone.. the Army Chief of Staff is gone.. both on the same day.. both replaced by people who haven't said no yet.. we asked this morning what Trump needed done that Pam Bondi wouldn't do.. now we're asking what order Randy George refused.. and both questions have the same answer.. we just don't know what it is yet.

That’s odd. When I asked you less than thirty seconds earlier, this was the start of your response; “Yes, it is true. In 2025, the U.S. Army (under then-Chief of Staff Gen. Randy A. George) ended its Army Prepositioned Stock 3 (APS-3) Afloat program—also known as the pre-positioned (pre-po) ship or Merchant Marine preposition fleet program. This involved decommissioning or transitioning the full-operating-status (FOS) merchant-type vessels that carried pre-loaded U.S. Army equipment, vehicles, munitions, and supplies for rapid global deployment.”

While the left was telling you that you were the world's pariah... While the left was telling you America still hated you for Pearl Harbor... While the left was telling you we saw Fukushima as the site of an ecological crime instead of a heroic battle against a natural disaster... They were telling a younger version of me that Japan looked on us with contempt. They were telling us that you thought we were racially inferior. That our facial features were coarse and ugly. That you thought we stank ("batta kusai"). That you thought of us as uncultured barbarians with no refinement or manners. That you you saw the atomic bombs as acts of calculated cruelty, rather than desperate measures in a horrific war. They showed us photographs of businesses, somewhere in Japan, with signs outside, saying "no foreigners". They posted them in anime forums online, with captions like "So you love Japan? Well, Japan doesn't love you." And I couldn't help but believe some of that. A little bit. It was the only information I had. I once wrote a very angry post defending the decision to use atomic weapons instead of invading, a decision I still believe was sound, but I wrote about it with great anger, believing as I was told, that the Japanese felt no responsibility for the war, that they blamed everything on us. I lost a grandfather in WW2, a grandfather I never met. And my father didn't know how to be a father, because he grew up without one. And I was angry. And then someone connected twitter to an AI that could turn Japanese into English. And I learned what Japanese people actually wanted to say to me: "Hey, look at this thing I made!" "We love cats! Do you love cats, too?" "Arggh! That meat looks so delicious! This is torture!" "I love bluegrass music!" "It's so cool that you guys can own guns!" "Are you mad about Fukushima? Wait, you're not? What!?" Sigh. The left tells so many lies, because they need us to feel bad. They need us to feel alone, and afraid, and angry. They need us to feel worthless, so that we will surrender and allow ourselves to be dependent on the worldwide tyranny they wish to create. But to do this, they have to tell different lies to different people. And when we learn to talk to each other, and we compare notes, we can discover the inconsistencies, and spot the lies. The Christian religion has a legend, a story of the people of Bab'el, who built a tower reaching towards the heavens, so that they might climb. For some reason that isn't really clear, god is supposed to have found this to be a threat, and responded by cursing the world to speak different tongues, so that they could not work together. Now, AI technology has undone the curse of Bab'el, and rocket technology is building a tower of fire to lift us to the stars. There are too many people in the world who are actually bad, who actually hate us, and don't want to see that progress. So perhaps it's time we stopped nursing old grudges against people who we actually can live in peace with. I'm not the only person who suffered a loss. None of us is. Perhaps it's time, instead, to defy the people who lie to us. Perhaps it's time to work together again. And rebuild that tower.

“Two world wars left you terrified of your own shadow, so you outsourced your spine to Washington” 🔥🔥🔥
LHGrey™️@grey4626

Starmer, you spineless fucking pussy. There you stand at the podium, eyes darting like a cornered rat, admitting the US-Israel hammer is smashing Iran’s nuclear dreams and that the Strait of Hormuz is now a war zone choking off 20 % of the planet’s oil flow...and what’s your grand British response? “We won’t join the fight… but we’ll chat with allies about reopening shipping lanes once the smoke clears.” Jesus Christ. That’s not leadership, that’s the whimper of a neutered lapdog who’s spent years castrating his own military while sucking at the EU teat and hiding behind NATO’s American shield. You and your continental cuckmates...Macron the metrosexual peacock, Scholz the eternal apology machine, the whole Brussels eunuch choir...have spent decades turning Europe into a continent of luxury welfare queens. Defense budgets? Barely scraping 2 % GDP while the United States carries 70 % of NATO’s actual combat power. You gutted your armies, sold your industrial base, and replaced warrior culture with pronoun workshops and net-zero fairy tales. Psychologically, it’s textbook: post-war trauma metastasized into learned helplessness. Two world wars left you terrified of your own shadow, so you outsourced your spine to Washington. Now, when the real axis of oil-choking tyrants flexes, you offer “diplomatic coordination” and “contingency planning.” Translation: please, big American daddy, keep the tankers moving so our economies don’t implode while we virtue-signal from the sidelines. Fuck that. The United Kingdom does not exist to be Europe’s unpaid security guard or NATO’s perpetual junior partner in a club where half the members treat Article 5 like a suggestion and the other half treat it as an American credit card. Strategic reality: the North Atlantic alliance was built for a Soviet threat that no longer exists in the same form. Today it’s a drag anchor on sovereign will. Britain’s true interests...energy security, naval dominance in the Atlantic and Indo-Pacific, deep bilateral ties with the Five Eyes and AUKUS...do not require us to bleed for a continent that refuses to grow its own balls. Let Europe die on the vine or finally man the fuck up. Cut the subsidies. Force them to spend 3–4 % of GDP on real warfighting capability instead of rainbow parades and migrant hotels. If they can’t, let the Russians, the Iranians, and the Chinese carve up the carcass. Natural selection. We leave NATO. We leave it now. Not out of isolation...out of lethal clarity. Britain first. America first where it aligns. No more blood, treasure, or prestige squandered on a pack of pussies who would rather manage decline than fight for survival. The standard is simple: strength is not negotiable. Weakness is not an option. And any “leader” who chooses the latter deserves nothing but contempt, history’s boot, and the cold realization that the age of cucks is over. Time to grow balls or get out of the way. 💀🪖🗡️

Spent all day in DC talking to Navy and military sources. My Hormuz Hypothesis stands: the Navy appears to be in no rush to reopen the strait. The question remains: what is this administration trying to leverage? Nobody I talked to is even willing to discuss that until European politicians and media stop calling Americans war criminals and monsters. And guess what? Even most liberals I talk to are getting tired of it. The only people pleased with the anti-American rhetoric vomiting out of Europe are the far left and a large segment of PhDs in academia and think tanks. I have no idea when the strait will reopen. But if the price is a modicum of cooperation and respect for everything America has done for decades to keep Europe safe, the strait could stay closed for months, or turned into a toll booth for years, because the majority of Americans…. and the vast majority of Trump administration officials I’ve talked with… seem fed up with their arrogance.
John Ʌ Konrad V@johnkonrad

Let's unpack this.. What if the White House has no intention of reopening the Strait of Hormuz? What if this war is really about ships & tariffs? I had a long discussion with senior DOE official yesterday on background. I can’t share any details but it’s clear everyone’s Strait of Hormuz calculus is wrong. We need to go back to the drawing boards. That's it. That's the tweet. Now a hypothetical 🧵 with my personal thoughts.

It is, and worse. One of the reasons why Japan has so much respect from the sane westerners is that you have managed to repel almost every soft power attack upon your own culture. This photo is of an employment office here in Australia. Does it look like it caters to Australian born?

Because of the two things that the lack of will kill you the quickest, water has visible, physical phase changes that fit into human experience. It also ties directly into the metric system. 1 cubic meter of fresh water weighs 1 metric ton. One kilogram of water has a volume of 1 litre.

Are you kidding me? Are you fucking kidding me right now? Is this fucking joke? Fukushima? Really? I mean, Japan did some pretty awful stuff in WW2, but... Fukushima? Of all the ridiculous things to feel guilty over... Fukushima was hit by multiple 50 foot tidal waves from a 9.1 earthquake at sea. That's not a fucking nuclear accident. That's your nuclear plant being hit by the hammer of god. And after that, you contained it. You took the hand fate dealt you and you played it with everything you had. You had workers volunteering to be heroes, to stay and fight to shut that thing down. And you saved... everyone. Not a single clearly connected death. In the middle of a natural disaster that cost you fifteen thousand souls, your people fought this thing and won. Chernobyl is something for Russians to be ashamed of, because that was their own screwup, and stupid communists can't do anything right. Fukushima wasn't your screwup. Fukushima happened to you. And your men stopped it. Fukushima is not your national shame. It is one of your finest hours.

Apparently, "food terrorism" is not a joke the Japanese came up with just now to describe our steakposting. It's a preexisting Japanese idiom for showing you something you really want to eat, when you can't actually eat it.
