@weaponizedword1 Type replacement is already an issue with unknown repercussions. I have grown tired of so many declaring this vaccine a "miracle" of science. Intense screening did the heavy lifting while uncovering the "miraculous" results. This isn't miraculous, but it was highly predictable:

All this vaccine managed to do was shift the composition of hpv strains. It hasn't eliminated anything. Screening campaigns have done more than the vaccines and we will find out in the coming years how these new types affect the numbers.

@lifebiomedguru @cochranecollab What they did manage to do though is virtually eliminate type 16 and 18 which are being rapidly replaced by new strains. We won't know the outcome for at least another decade and anyone stating otherwise needs to come with the proof before making these claims publicly.

@lifebiomedguru @cochranecollab I am with you on this @lifebiomedguru. I got heavily pressured to vaccinate my daughter and have yet to find the data or a study to convince me it's a good idea. All of these claims of elimination simply aren't backed by the numbers....

Somehow, @cochranecollab could not find the massive number of studies that found non-vaccine-targeted types do increase after the HPV vaccine is targeted by Merck's HPV vaccine. The CDC wished-for narrative on no type replacement fell apart in 2020. I found them. Yes, there were few cases of it in young women before the vaccine, but these are the first generation of girls/women getting the vaccine. We can expect to see much less future cervical cancer rates/cases in these vaccinated women as they age.

@JCmacc1 @NickKristof There is no proof of anything beyond better screening for now. Claims that they have eliminated in under 25 therefore the vaccine works is deceptive and dishonest. It's simply too soon to tell. The numbers will show in another 10 years.

A baby has died of whooping cough in Kentucky, becoming the third child to die of pertussis in the past 12 months across the state.
The Kentucky Dept. for Public Health confirmed none of the infants had been vaccinated, nor had their mothers.

I cannot wait until the CDC is forced to tell the truth about type replacement and the misleading publications on the "efficacy" of HPV vaccines, restricted to counts of CIN cases involving vaccine-targeted types, ignoring CIN cases involving rarer types that increased in prevalence following HPV vaccination! We know who did this, and we know how. @cochranecollab was paid >$1M to ignore type replacement in their "independent" HPV vaccine safety report. In 2020 studies were publishing detailing type replacement, but CDC never changed their policy on recommendations.
