Dude in a truck called me a "lazy b*tch" for not using the crosswalk. I stopped using it last year after nearly being run over by cars running the light three weeks in a row. Yet this guy was way angrier about my jaywalking than I was about nearly dying 3 times 🤷‍♀️

I've received 3 phishing emails today from a sender claiming to be the guy who is now Chief of Staff at the @FTC? Like, these scammers aren't worried about one of the top officials at the agency that investigates them holding a grudge? That's wild 😅

He then raised me as a single parent, and of course i had a hard time. Once, I was depressed about my birthday, feeling like no one cared. We had agreed to celebrate over the weekend, but when I came home upset he made me a cake. This man had never baked in his life - nor since.

My parents were separated when my mom had a stroke & her cancer came back. I was 9. Without hesitation, my dad moved back in & cared for us for 3 years before she passed. Physically, emotionally, & financially. He also let me decide every detail of the burial and funeral.

Explain to me why government agencies across the country struggle to retain their workforce because they're recruited to the private sector. You've said I'm wrong but have given nothing to back it up. "Nice try."

@MmelonT @Not_the_Bee @POTUS Nice try, but bad logic and even worse economic basics. The whole point that these jobs are *not* “lower paying” when total compensation is considered. “But thanks for playing.”

Today, my Administration is canceling student debt for 35,000 public service workers through Public Service Loan Forgiveness. Now 4.76 million folks have benefitted from our various debt relief actions, each receiving an average of over $35,000 in cancellation. That matters.

@TalLiveEasy @Not_the_Bee @POTUS PSLF is one of those benefits, so you're supporting my point. Employees can accept the jobs despite the lower pay because of the benefits, including PSLF. I should have noted PSLF is only one part of the picture, but I hit character limits.

@MmelonT @Not_the_Bee @POTUS You need to calculate by *total compensation,* not just wages. Federal government workers get substantially more in benefits than other workers.

@Not_the_Bee @POTUS The PSLF program SAVES taxpayers money. It recruits people who could make way more in the private sector to accept low-paying government jobs. Without it, we would have to raise salaries across the board or suffer shortages of teachers, first responders, etc. Thanks for playing.

My pup is a rescue, so I don't know his actual birthday and instead celebrate his Gotcha Day (next month). But I guess the shelter records list today, and my Vet mentioned it at his appointment. Meaning I took my (fur) baby to the doctor on his birthday. I'M THE WORST MOM 🤣
