Incredible contradictions last night. Locally, @streetsforall candidates swept in Santa Monica, West Hollywood, and Culver City. Our candidates also won in CD10 and CD14. Incredible mandate for change and progress. Nationally, I don’t have words. Many of our major regional transportation priorities will put on ice for 4 years. And of course, that’s the least of it. 🤦‍♂️

Welp, our world is looking terrifying right now, but at least we crushed it at the local level here 💙.

When you live in a historically progressive city in SoCal but you still have to pick between progressive candidates and MAGA 💀

Santa Monica voters with ethics will vote like this: Barry, Dan, Ellis, Natalya. Yes on K. No on PSK. Yes on QS.

Excited to have council members who aren’t just grumpy old dudes.

What do you want? Bus improvements? Better crosswalks? Less speeding? Turn restrictions? Curb extensions? Not having to avoid SM Blvd like the plague? I want it all, and I’m putting it in the damn survey. SO SHOULD YOU.
