@EricLDaugh Reminds me when some businesses, forget who, but as a generous offer to get voters out to - vote, they offered like a free taco or whatever. And it that offer was discovered they had to cancel their kind offer as it was deemed illegal to do. Was considered buying votes.

I get it, the city wants the units to be repaired soon as possible but the Weiss team likely doesn't have a magic fix-it wand. They'll have to deal with Insurance & insurance adjustors

@AlTayWeiss Sadly I am. Juan was at the house when they came back. He goes back most days to feed the kittens we are trying to trap under the now open foundation. He called LAPD immediately, they were apprehended. He discusses in the video I posted.

Everyone asks if the people who started the fire that destroyed Juan's house were arrested. The answer is yes but not for what you think. JUST IN: I joined @FBILosAngeles early this morning as agents made multiple arrests in a major fraud case. Investigators describe it as an elaborate mortgage scheme targeted elderly victims, stealing up to $15 million. Several suspects arrested so far across LA and other states.

Retail Run, Caught Stealing….At Dillards She turned Dillard’s into an obstacle course nobody signed up for. At what point does running turn a minor theft into serious charges? It starts inside Dillard’s…loss prevention flags a suspected theft and an officer steps in to confront her. For a split second, it looks like she might cooperate… Then she bolts. Straight through the store. Past racks, around displays, weaving through shocked shoppers as the officer gives chase. What was a normal shopping trip for everyone else just turned into a full-on sprint through Dillard’s. She makes it outside, heading for her car like that’s the escape plan. But the situation doesn’t calm down in the parking lot…it escalates. During the struggle, the officer ends up getting hit with mace, turning an already chaotic chase into a dangerous one. What started as suspected shoplifting is now something much bigger.

@AlTayWeiss Here in Hollywood there are some very narrow streets just north of Melrose where city san crews walk the route to p/u the trash bins from the sidewalk it's that narrow. Also Wilton near me, trucks p/u bins from sidewalk. My street - they just drive by 'em if they're on sidewalk

I love these 1950s buildings. This is a great 11 unit we manage in Sherman Oaks south of Ventura Blvd. One issue, trash day on these little streets full of apartment buildings is tough.
